I stumbled across this song on Jules Holland the other night. And I am still so dumbstruck and in awe. I actually cannot find the words to do it justice. The lyrics are beyond anything poetic I have ever heard. Mind-blowing surreal. I only wish I could say more

A chorus to make you weep uncontrollably

Dear Grian, your voice is magic. This is undoubtely a beautiful song (melody, harmony, lirycs, structure, arrangement ) but your voice (and what's behind it) makes the very difference. It's the voice of a poet. Go on!

Grian is a great example of a bad vocalist with an amazing voice if that makes sense. One of the best out right now imo. He killed it on this album.

Great shout. That’s exactly what I thought when I first heard it. I’m a big fan of the La’s and this is a revelation. Guitar has a bit of ‘fishing net’ and Grian’s lyrics even have that Mavers touch

Well , what can I say ...simply wonderful, Grians voice is very unique and I love the deep rich undertones of the Dubliners coming through .I can imagine stadiums full of fans singing along or a session in the local pub with Guinness of course. I have no doubt Grian will be very successful with this first solo album. He's true to his own style and very talented . Looking forward to what he does in the future.
