There's an episode in season 15 where the case Owen was working on had a lot of people with Scottish accents. I'm so impressed with Kevin being Scottish, he didn't break character or have even a hint of his real accent. He stayed completely in the American accent and Owen character. It was really impressive!

Kiera Conway In terms of location, legality and nationality, yes but it’s not the same in terms of the accent. A Scottish accent is distinctly different than a British accent.🙂

if you don’t know owen hunt(kevin mckidd) has an accent you can’t really tell unless focus on his voice

Scotland is a part of Great Britain so he considers himself British. British and English don't always go hand in hand :)

ava cyr Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland and England are 2 different countries. So you can be Scottish and British

Britain is made up of 4 different countries England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so he is Scottish and British. Someone can be English and British, Welsh and British etc :-), but British isn't the same as English.
