All I can say is, THANK GOD she didn’t want to be a doctor because she’s changed Grey’s Anatomy in the best way I could imagine. Caterina is an amazing actor and had made the most amazing impact on Grey’s Anatomy ❤️❤️

She has always been my favorite both in private practice and when she arrived on Grey’s, I love her character and her as a person, there’s just something so special about her and you can see that the people on the show see that as well. I really hope she doesn’t die or else, Shonda and I will be having quite the talk

It took me a little bit to warm up to Amelia as a character, but I respect her. As an actress, she can take these very raw, emotional scenes....like the scenes when she is dealing with Derek's death....and she makes the pain look real. She has grown tremendously as a character from being just Derek's sister hovering in his shadow to coming into her own as a doctor and a woman. She's no longer "the other Dr. Shepherd"......she is worthy of respect and trust and admiration because of her own gifts.

is it just me or is her voice higher in real life?

misskit123 I don't think they will kill her because if Shonda really wanted to she would have gave her like a butterfly tumor or something that would have already put her on a death bed. It has clean margins indicating its the begging of one and we don't know how deep it is so I don't think she will die.

I freaking LOVE Amelia. She's brave and bold and powerful and she doesn't back down. I didn't like her right away but I now feel I have this incredible connection to her.

The amount of times she has made me cry with her amazing talent and just bringing Amelia to life as a real person is insane her happy moments make me laugh and her sad moments have me sobbing in a puddle on the floor 😂

She’s an amazing actress and has a incredible character in pp and greys. I’ve never loved a character and actress that much like I love caterina/amelia. My comfort character/person. I smile soo big whenever I see a picture of her. It’s like I’m in love with her. Gosh I love her so so much and its my BIGGEST dream too meet her someday🥰

Amelua shepherd is my all time favorite character on greys and private practice ,she's been through so much but still does her best to help others ,caterina is an amzing actress to be able to portray all that and make it feel so real

HER VOICEEE 😭😭SHE WAS A BABY

For me personally, she reinvigorated my love for this show after losing great multifaceted characters like Christina & Lexie, and over the top storylines that felt inauthentic and cringeworthy. I always kept watching, but for years it became just a background show that I'd DVR and had no urgency to watch. Amelia's character made me pay attention again - through that I began to love so many other characters fully (April, Jackson, Maggie, Meredith, Richard, Alex, Jo, etc etc). Sarah Drew nails it when she says Caterina reinvigorated things; there was a good 5-6 year gap where I lost interest in this Grey's world. All I can say is I am so glad to be back!!!

Jerrika and Sarah said it best. I've loved her character since Private Practice and I've come to realization that, it's a soul/energy thing. What I'm really drawn to is her as a person. Caterina seems to have the most beautiful, authentic spirit, and it really jumps off the screen.

I just love Caterina Scorsone. I was drawn to her in 1 800 Missing and have watched her ever since. Something very special about her.
