Greta Van Fleet - The Story Of The Band From Frankenmuth - Documentary
Музыка
This may not be the best documentary but I did my best to make this and I hope that people can use this to help them introduce other people to Greta Van Fleet and they can gain some knowledge about the band. So i dedicated this documentary to the band and members of the Peaceful Army.

Thank you so much everyone. For getting this video to over 100,000 views. I didn't think this video would hit 1K views. Thank you so much, can't wait to hear the new album on April 16th and hopefully we can update this video in the future.

I've been into R&R since 1957 and heard it all. I haven't listened to R&R for many years, relying on classic rock radio to get my fix. GVF is the breath of fresh air we've all needed for 40+ years. Watch their interviews, watch the radio interview with their mom. They are the real deal from head to toe. I love these guys
68 years old, and now living in Northwestern Michigan. I saw most of the really big acts from back in the 60s and 70s. Greta Von Fleet just exploded on the scene! These guys are truly, the next iteration (generation?) of Rock! I am truly impressed, and wish them all the very best! Makes me want to just put my guitar back in the case... Lol!

I'm sold, great band and I know I'm not the only Zep fan that finds this incredible....
Well, what a surprise! R&R has returned! Saw all the greats, and those who were good but never got the recognition, during the 60's/70's. Only a few between then and now. Finally, a group that GOT it. So much fake singers and music out there. At 80 i've found a new band. Something good in 2020!
I think this is the best thing I've heard since I was a kid. I'm hearing Dylan, plant and Page, Jeff Beck, a bit of Jimmy...and the Who...definatly some Pete Townsend vibes...but built upon, not repeated. Keeping my eye on them. "Meeting the Master" is the most exciting music I've heard in a very long time.
Oh yeahhhh these guys are exactly what rock needs right now. Fresh , traditional . Real down to Earth rock-n Roll without all the Digital enhancing , over quantizing and fakery. I hope they keep on writing and moving and growing . Maybe we will get REAL musicians and artists back again , instead of untalented, over produced one night media wonders like we have way too many of now.
Blown Away. Raw Talent.
Wow so close to 20K view, i was not expecting this when i first made this video. Thank you so much everyone!
Daniel is the glue......just like JB was for Zep.....His bass line is incredible!!!! All of them are of a similar age of when Zep started....and you are JUST as talented in your own right....Please stay alive and grow...You are making musical history.
JUST WANT TO SAY I AM A50 year old guitarist, and nothing has touched my soul as much as you guys since I WAS 16 ; 1987 AND THAT WAS GUNS & ROSES!!! I THINK YOUR ALBUM IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER THAT WILL STAND THE TIME...KEEP ON ROCKING AND HOPE TO SEE YOU IN CANADA...JAMES SCOTT NICHOLSON,ONTARIO, CANADA
Jamming out to "When the Curtain Falls" while driving back to Kansas through Beatrice, Nebraska got me a speeding ticket. I told the officer respectfully that it was your fault because that song is too good...my son and I were rocking out and my speed reflected it. The officer knew your sound, said he likes it, still gave me the ticket. Most of your other songs are better than what's out there also...and this documentary is well pieced together. I'm trying not to like you guys, but you're making it hard somehow...been trying to figure it out since I first heard that Highway song. I was like, "WTF". FFW, great music, weird style, where's your shoes, good luck to y'all and thanks.

Me too. I'm in.
It's the brotherhood that makes the band! arguments and disagreements are taken with grains of salt and no one is held to a higher standard. It's brothers being brothers. It just don't get better than that!!!
First time I saw this band just a few year's ago on Colbert?/SNL? I just about passed out cold. I was mesmerized !!! The outfits, the music, the Style. Looove it. I've lived in Michigan my whole life. Where have I been?!?! that I never heard this band? I even was a bartender/cocktail waitress for 30 yrs. WTF? I'm down the Greta rabbit hole now I tell ya. 😁😁😁
Started listening to GVF a year or so ago thought they were the real deal then and now I know they are! So happy for your success guys.
At 8:20 when Jake talks about how Josh’s technique came from having to cut above the instruments it is very similar to what Rush’s Geddy Lee said he did with his voice to be heard over Rush’s music.
Yes. They showed part of the Chattanooga show
As someone who grew up listening to great guitar based rock it's awesome to see it finally making a comeback. GVF is the perfect band to carry the torch, so much talent!
Robert Plant brought me here. I’d never heard of them until 3 hours ago. Seriously down the Greta Van Fleet proverbial rabbit hole now. Love from the UK.

This band is so awesome. They make today's mainstream music seem so trivial. I love the the way the band works together and the music is transcending.
Ridiculously good. Especially bringing back the Hammond sound. I'm an instant fan....
It's 2020 and this band's sound was amazing when they started. But it's amazing how much they have improved musically since their beginnings. I really love these boys, I'd give out a kidney for them. They're truly great musicians and artists, and I'm so excited to see how much they'll keep improving through the years. Keep rocking on fellas. Big hug from Paraguay 🇵🇾 you all got my full support

I don't know where these guys came from but they're going places big-time . They're probably already there. Holyshit. The band is incredible. The vocalist is up there with anybody throughout the 80s. Unbelievable. The range blew my mind. The riffs mind-blowing.
Great job putting this together!!!
Refreshing too hear real rock and roll music again
GVF had me at Highway Tune. Wherever they go musically, I'm down for the ride. Their influences are eclectic, but ultimately they are 100% themselves. When they publicly burst onto the scene, their live performances weren't as good as their studio work. That takes time to gain confidence in a live performance. Within a few short years of doing major gigs, they've gained that confidence superbly. I look forward to many years of listening to their art. I missed them when they were in my neck of the woods, but I have a feeling they'll be around for a while and I'll catch them when they come around again.
Watching this in 2022 and it’s so cool to see how much they’ve changed and improved. Can’t wait to see where they go

All things can be compared to something that came before however to deminish the value of something so important because it uses the pallet of another artist is ludicrous. This is an epic phenomenon enjoy it or just puss off.

This a great Greta doco - plenty of things for those of us who disappeared down the rabbit hole. I don't really want to come out of the rabbit hole. I feel like a proud parent every time I watch them. I have seen Jake say in a few interviews that the original drummer couldn't keep up and for me, I don't know that person, but that Danny stepped in is a blessing. He is an awesome drummer. And I see him as part of their family and sure they do too.
