Actually, Danny doesn’t use double pedals- Jake didn’t allow it. Josh’s breath control makes it possible for him to sustain those notes for a long time, and his vocal coach has helped him just improve on that over the years as well. There’s no doubt that all of them are overflowing with talent (no matter what the haters say, it’s undeniable).

I agree with you on older people liking Greta. I'm 66 and they are the best band I've heard in years. No autotune, no pitch correction, no drum machines, no beat machine....it's fu@#$cking rock and roll.

K little story for y'all...I'm 50 ...from Frankenmuth..my oldest went to school with these guys...so my daughter comes to me and says ..hey dad ...my friends got this band and they are really REALLY good...I wanna have a Halloween party and have them play ...I said ummm I don't think so ...that band just happened to be GRETA VAN FLEET ..whoops..who knew ..I didn't this was like 2011 I believe ...these guys rock 💯💯💯

So good to see someone who has not heard Greta Van Fleet before. It's always a great reaction. They do play piano/keys in a lot of songs. The bass player also does keys. I am an older listener as well and just love them. I have been listen to them since 2017 and finally this March I get to go see them live in Reno, Nevada. Can you believe the drummer was only 19 when they recorded this concert. Great reaction, keep reacting to them.

I agree that gvf is great but why do you feel the need to put down other bands to acknowledge their talent? Not trying to be confrontational, I just think you can give a band or musician praise without bringing down others. Spread positivity ✌️.

Great Reaction . I agree 100 percent that Greta is EXACTLY what the pop rock music scene needs today . . REAL........down to Earth good old fashioned talent, and music from the heart of the golden era of rock. Jake,,has what I call the " Mercury effect". In reference to Freddie Mercury of Queen. He , Like Freddie have/ had an uncanny spiritual control over the audience. They sing in Unison with their lyrics, etc...and all Jake has to do is gesture to move the audience the way he wants to . These guys are Phenomenal. Speaking of Queen, if you want to hear how versatile and deep this band is in reality. Listen to the official video of their called "Heat Above" It literally sounds like Janis Joplin collided with Queen , and threw in a little Geddie Lee for grins and giggles. Just an amazing song .

We need this old school music again! The vocals are unmatched by anyone today! Extremely talented...the singer and guitarist are twin brothers...the bassist/keyboardist is their younger brother and the drummer is a friend.

When I first heard them I thought Sam and jake were the twins! I can see now that Josh and jake really favor each other in certain ways but they looked a lot alike when they were little! And everyone thought Danny was one of the brothers! It’s really good to read up about a band before hand so you know who they are!

Never heard of Greta Van Fleet until i saw them as a support for Guns N' Roses live in Berlin 2018 for the first time. I cried hearing stuff like Highway Tune, Edge Of Darkness and Black Smoke Rising on a hot summer day in a big 4$$ stadium. Holy i got goosebumps. This was the best support i ever saw.

The thing I like about GVF (as an old fart) is that they are bringing back RAWK! It's analog. It's un-embellished. It's not OVER produced. With GVF, what you see is what you get. Hat's off to them. I prefer bands that can stand on their own with out artificial support. Too many performers these days can't lay down a track without "running em' thru the computer" to get everything on key and it smothers their music in fake plastic. I hope GVF inspires others to pursue an analog sound and to rediscover that songs are still allowed to have melodies and solos.

Y'all are talking about Ted Nugent. Good musician, good hunter. Very anti-drug. He actually has an entire album titled "Hunt Music" which are songs celebrating hunting and being outdoors. Don't let the title fool you into thinking there is nothing on it for you though, "Sunrise instrumental" and "Earthtones" are great instrumentals to listen to when you are just on a walk in the woods. Yeah "I just want to go Hunting" and "Fred Bear" probably aren't very relatable if you don't archery hunt, but the rest of the album is fairly broad in its appeal if you are an outdoorsy person.
