You shall not read below. I repeat, do not read below. It is strictly forbidden according to provision 132489mk7//ark5.
-- Chancellor Fauxarbiterbias XVI
Deus decisively adorns his trusty, gleaming, obsidian jacket and outdated aviators--then hits the road in a rush.
He embarks on a sojourn through this seemingly teeming with vitality, LED-infused landscape. But it appears that beneath that utopian veneer lurks something far more dysphoric. A totalitarian government, willfully granted by the citizens. Out of the despair induced by this rampant tsunami of data stimuli, denizens no longer have the will try to filter it and decide for themselves what is important and what is extraneous--the human body and mind after all never evolved to support this level of constant mental awareness.
Always, observant of his surroundings Deus voyeuristically gazes at the Substance Datahead degenerate Robo Hobo who torches the infrared datum hand in fist.
Deus clearly disgusted by the possession of technology on the denizen's minds forges forward--albeit with traces of his own hypocrisy.
Prix glides across a high rise android brothel before Deus' very eyes, having too been caught up in the downward spiral of data addiction...Injecting her Substance Data µSB into her modded port and feeling her scheduled release.
The Neuro Nurse repairs the Body Mod Patient's node-based architecture tattooed all-over his body and corrects his cerebellum disk-entry point with her laser torch whilst excising a corrupted node.
The gilded semi-conductor floats through the sky, ready to be confiscated by an ambassador known as "The Hivemind Agent" selling through taxation the information that he thinks is best suited for the lowly and soulless Robo Hobo to know.
The cloud computing storm encroaches upon Deus' reality and threatens to rob him of the last shreds of his organic humanity once and for all.
If you want to see more videos like this, please support your scene. Purchase "Timewave Zero" at any of the varying digital or physical distribution outlets. Thank you for watching (you must be mad for reading to the bottom, by the way /winky face) and have a wonderful day!

OK. I have to agree with both of you. Back in the early 90' we used to wait for a new game release, online gaming was very limited but still game play used to be more than hires graphics. Sometimes it didn't matter if you had an Amstrad, Atari ST, Amiga or even ZX Spectrum or Commodore 64! It was all about proper game play that mattered. I sometimes miss those years! But anyway future is here and that's the way it is I guess...

  • @Ghost-sv4ph

    @Ghost-sv4ph

Son of Northern Darkness I dunno, for sure it's not as profitable as it used to be but the games industry is looking fine to me. Besides, a lot of bands work full-time as they make music, and that's a much bigger project than it appears to be. I don't see why a talented game developer (for example) couldn't financially back up their art with a career in software development. If you have the passion, it's possible - I'm on the road myself and I think this would be a fucking excellent project! Also, people can easily change, especially in masses. If there's no audience, make one! We live in a high-tech world and naturally people are more interested in technology-oriented themes. Maybe it's about time the masses and their culture embraced the future eh? :D

I always watch this video when I'm high and it never fails to amaze me. Very trippy. I love the style, it's kind of like flipping through a cyberpunk comic, with a Tron aesthetic and A Scanner Darkly feel to the art style. But I can't quite put my finger on it. It's unique. I feel as though I've absorbed a full length feature film and story within the timeframe. Still can't comprehend everything about what's happening but I enjoy the openness to interpretation and the entertainment.

To me, this is an expression of society as it currently is. The new technology and the reliance on it, is just as bad as the people relying on drugs. He sees the public as it is, and has his own bit of reliance he is dealing with

This video seems very serious. Like, Grendel seems like a serious business kind of band. They seem very serious about this video.

Such an underappreciated video. Grendel have always been ahead of their time and the the creator of this video had some impressive imagination making it :)

I like when it shows the eye in the center of the brain and the 3'rd uplift for the female at XXX, what a man desire's to have, big cities of blazing lights, how we evolve to machines as it replaces the imperfection of our eyesight, heart, blood... It's all what we men would wish for as it destroy's us in the process and the mind become's corrupt as the god wipes everything we left. The actual meaning of this master piece is endless, as it show's the truth of man's plan.

I agree with you up until the god point, i believe the storm is meant to represent abandoning ones humanity, much like one does when he or she has a drug addiction. They lose what makes them human and almost become animalistic, caring about nothing other then getting their next fix.
