Grendel - Out Of My Mind

Музыка

Artist: Grendel
Album: Timewave Zero
Released: 2012
Style: Electronic
Origin: Netherlands
Following on from their massive album release "Harsh Generation" and last year's EP "Chemicals & Circuitry", Netherlands-based GRENDEL finally return with their new studio album, "Timewave Zero", another milestone in the electro scene showing that they are one of Europe's finest. Nine all-new (plus a 2012 remake of the hit "Chemicals and Circuitry") brutal tracks of uncompromisingly harsh EBM and electronics! Distorted vocals, acidic synth lines, pummeling basslines and jagged melodies streamline the release to make it the most addictive GRENDEL assault to date. Get your adrenaline flowing!

One thing I will always love and appreciate in this song is in the chorus, when the lead synth pans left and right before pitching down. It's super catchy and caught my attention immediately the first time I heard this song.

***** That future is almost among us. Cyberpunk, more than anything is an examination of the present, rather than the future ;] Corporations and money-flows already control just about everything. Bitcoin and Cash are the only true anonymous currencies. I'd suggest starting to play with various Operating Systems, Linux especially. The idea is not so much to build it, it's coming whether we want it or not; the idea is for us to be able to adapt when the time comes. Most cyberpunks that Feel it in their soul will be ready, at least in terms of Will.

Leo K What is the future? Basically a different Past (memories, knowledge, info) we gather and transform in our minds, calling it future. Present exists, in every moment you experience it, in every second (or least) a new fresh moment arises. Then, we create past and future, but they doesn't exist, are just thoughts, concepts. What really exists is an eternal now, constantly changing.

paxas03 Correct. The Present is the only time we can Act or Move. The Future and Past don't really exist in a way we can Feel them. The Present is all that we can feel. Very good. :)

Japanese is a beautiful language. writing and sound. Japan has the most futuristic cities in the world. Technology, machines everywhere, over-population. And at same time lots of tradition. Love it.

paxas03 Last time I checked, Japan had a severe demographic crisis, with not enough children to support economic growth and a quickly aging population, not over-population. Well, maybe in the cities.

They have more job's offers than people. So it's good to find job, and they accept immigrants because of it, they need people. As I knoe many brazilians go there to work. I'm interested in learning Russian also, another language with a different alfabet. I guess I get interested by such different languages than mine. Japanese is very easy, to speak, at least for me as portuguese. But russian it's harder. Just for curiosity, arigato sounds similiar to Obrigado. Obrigado is thank you in portuguese, and arigato originated from portuguese obrigado. I mean, portuguese traveled by sea to almost every continent in the world in the past.
