My cuz also wrote " Never Been to Spain". Both he & his Momma were inducted into the Grand old Opry & Country Music Hall of Fame in 95. His version of "500 miles" is so hauntingly beautiful. He also wrote Ringo's hit-"that No No Song".

Hoyt Axton is a music legend. Check out his singing on the film Smokey and the TV show Bonanza. He also wrote a number of hit songs that were covered.

He loved to sing with Pernell.He also sang with Bob Dylan. He didn't give enough credit to his Mom.❤
