Its kinda hard not to be yourself with Jacob, he's such an open person who seems to not even an iota of judgement in him and has no qualms being his authentic self. Abbott elementary is one of those shows where i just can't have a favourite character. I love all of them!

“You need to be better at hiding things with your face” 😂😂😂 Gregory struggles to communicate but his body language always says it all! I love the non verbal communication in this scene. This show is such a masterpiece to me and the actors are perfect

I love that Gregory initiated the hug ❤

Their friendship is adorable. Janine and Jacob are so alike and Gregory, despite his reluctance, has become close with both. They're the kind of people he needs around him.

I didn’t like Jacob at first, mostly because he annoyed me with his liberal wokeness and constant virtue signaling to the point when everyone had to call him out on it. But his character really grew on me in Season 2 because he truly cares for his students and everyone at Abbott and his “virtue signaling” are genuinely coming from his heart. Unlike several of the teachers at the charter schools who constantly virtue signal, but don’t really mean it because it makes them feel better about themselves. I hope to see more of him and his personal growth in Season 3.

I'm still mad at Quinta and the writers and everybody right now cuz I got my lil hopes up only for them to be dashed. 😭 But I loved these little moments. Gregory has grown so much. Love that he now sees Jacob as a friend. (SN: Night Jacob has that dog in him? 🤣🤣) Can't wait for the season 3 shenanigans.

I'm not too happy about the finale either. Every since I've been imagining them doing dishes together, going to the movies, and her trying to teach him how to make the spaghetti that Melissa taught Janine. 😊 My life is sad. 😅

This is my best moment in all of Season 2. The way Gregory says so much just with his face. and that bro hug moment? Pure gold

I did not realize that i was actually invested until i audibly gasped when Greg said "bro hug?"

I was disappointed by the ending, but happy at the same time. In Friends S10 Ross and Rachel was better than S3 Ross and Rachel because they both became fully independent and successful individuals, all while striking a better balanced friendship. The same goes for Dwayne & Whitley, Emma & Hook, the list of the greatest couples on TV goes on. As much as we crave for Janine & Gregory to get together, there's still room for career and social growth and for a deeper and meaningful friendship between the two. Hopefully with Jacob the 3rd musketeer in tow.

S3 will be like a clean slate. No romantic relationships to look forward to. Even the other characters have nothing revealing in the finale, except for Mrs Howard's sleep apnea. Can't wait to be surprised on what's in store.

But Gregory & Janine will still be in the cards but in a friendly deeper way. Even Ava should get something going mid-season, a real nemesis she might actually fall for.
