Greg has been running a blistering series of Licks to Annoy Loved Ones on IG. It's pretty great. The last one sounded like someone who passed recently enough, Jim Mesi...good job man, make it weep bro, make it weep.

I think Greg Koch might be the most modest and disarming guitar God of all time. He's sooo much more talented and intelligent than anyone and he refuses to think that about himself. Good goin' Greg. ;)
The world needs more Koch!!! Greg Koch that is ; )

What is holding them back from being awesome? Why just "really good"?
Late to the party, but glad I made it. Fabulous interview with great insight into Reverend guitars and the history behind Greg’s signature model. Always love tuning in to hear Greg talk guitars; and John B., another great interview. Nicely done!
Greg can make any guitar sound good. He makes his sound amazing.
Someone needs to make a t-shirt that says "My wife hates it when I noodle." I'll take 5, please.
Super chill gentlemen talking about guitars!
i LOVE the "noodley" youtube thumbnail for this video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John and Greg are a Perfect Pairing !!!!, i couldnt see ANYONE ELSE doing this interview !!!!
As amazing as Greg is as a musician part of me wants him to be a worldclass comedian
Excellent!! These two should write a Dr. Seuss book documenting their encounter. Two great personalities in the guitar world. Both are mansquatches.
Awesome guy and guitarist.
Engaging guy. Great player and a brand that makes terrific and affordable instruments for people that don’t have a dentist’s salary.
I cannot tell you guys how many times my husband has shouted, "PUT THE DAMN GUITAR DOWN AND LISTEN!!" And I'm like, "I am listening." And he's like "PUT. IT. DOWN."

I'd love to try one of these someday. Haven't had a chance to yet, but I did install this pickup system in a Warmoth Tele build, and i couldn't be happier with it. It sounds fantastic.

Ladies and gentlemen!! The Great!! Greg Koch!!!!!!
Love Greg
There's some great clips of him with his band here on YT. One that stuck with me has Dave Grissom onstage with him. Grissom is great, but Greg burns it down, baby! Awesome!

Wow - peddler meets peddler!! Cool 😎
cool guitar. does the battery drain if you leave it plugged in? also, can you charge the battery while you're playing in case of an emergency? Love your playing. rock on.

Question 1- Yes, it does. Question 2- No. It's in an assembly under the plate. But, as they pointed out in the video, it's a 300 hour battery. and there's a tiny light on the jackplate that flashes if the battery's getting low. It doesn't take long to recharge, either. I put one of these systems in a Warmoth Tele build and I absolutely love it. Highly, highly recommended. The only negative is that it doesn't make you play like Greg.

Korina word is African black Limba wood. Some earlier reverend guitars are made from mahogany, those are supposedly quite good and worth picking up.
How did Fender let him get away?
"are you a jockey?" 😂
THAT is a really interesting axe.
You do need to unplug the fishman pickup "amplified" or the battery is being drained on my Fender Acoustasonic . So unplug after play..
Greg Koch, a.k.a. "the Noodlemaster".....
Mr. Kocheri 👍😂😀😀🍀

Guitarists: LET GREG PLAY! Interviewers: LET GREG SPEAK!
The Reverend GristleMaster is the best T style guitar ever. I've owned many guitars and played literally thousands. And the fishman gristletone pups are amazing!!!. To the point I'm replacing all my pups in all my others! great product!!!! And Greg is one of the most awesome guitarists of all time.
Hi Bros and sis. Koch is a Deutsch name and means cook. Hi Greg Koch, are you or your anscestors from Deutschland? Coz you have the typical looks of one and the Humor as well. Thanks for your presence and all the best. Wellwishings and goodness. Tom
And 9v leak for the fun of it. That’s why I bought the cream Greg Koch Reverend.
Now that is a signature guitar worth having. Features that actually make a difference.

I have had about 10 different teles. Two rose to the level of "this feels like a whole level of quality above" type instrument: American Deluxe tele and Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider - mine's the S. If I could get a reverend neck for my baja, I'd do it.
Greg Koch is the best Tele player in the game. Fight me.

Kinda weird concept to plug in a guitar to charge
Once the conversation started digressing toward custom guitars (i.e. not fenders and gibsons) bollinger started gettin' real bored.
The fact that the "wood makes no difference" crowd is made up of people who literally can't tell the difference (physically or audibly) really says quite a bit about them, and it's not painting a pretty picture as far as overall-competence goes... Different woods are gonna resonate in different ways. Even if you can't hear the difference outright, it's gonna change how you play, and *that* makes for an obvious difference in tonality.
Kind of sucks- the way the video just fades out. I want one of these

I can't stand G.K.'s talking'roaring, that's just personal, i am not attacking anyone: everyone is different, nobody is perfect and everyone has good qualities (in different quantities, qualities and at different times ;) ), but, i should say,... But his playing is just Great and This guitar is just unbelievable, it sounds so juicy and i think one can get 1000's of sounds from this 3-way switch; it looks friendly, simple and uplifting, too. Yes, treble bleed is a good "fink".
