Well a 10% trainers fee out of 25M is 2.5M thats a lot of money i believe thats why GGG and Abel broke up when fighters get big money they try to give the trainer a flat fee instead of a percentage

Greg hits me hard yet again. That's one of the biggest reasons I quit training guys. Soon as they get pro others try to squeeze you out. Takes a serious bond with a fighter to tell managers and promoters they not switching trainers, but they have to have enough talent to get away with that.

If nothing changed DJ should get his normal %, but if that % did change for the Crawford fight, was it a gentleman's agreement ( handshake) or was it written in the contract, for the Crawford fight?? Facts

Money is a reason a trainer leaves a coach but other important stuff too. If a coach ain't paying attention to the fighter a fighter will leave. Coaches pay attention to other fighters and not everyone gets equal treatment. I had that problem with trainers. But with Spence who knows what really happened. I seen Olympic trainers have fighters leave them because they ain't pay attention to them being they were focused on other fighters they valued more .

Exactly what happen to Mike Tyson. Don King stepped in and ruined the Kevin Rooney trainer relationship and you know it was over money with Don King. Tyson undefeated w/ Rooney

You owe your trainer, especially if they brought you up, just like you would feed your family when you get yours, amateur Olympic grade coaches its a bit different, they'd probably opt out to train the next generation anyways and they likely value olympic status over any pro straps ... The only situation i can see being a problem is agreeing on the amount if yall going pro, personally i'd make sure my trainer is setup nicely, wouldn't want him training anyone but me, all of his time and attention devoted to our success as a team ... Thats just my opinion.
