@@everminenow I guess respect is the wrong word it’s more of the fact that they are a big market like LA or NY and have two very young super stars. Id love for them to lose in the finals again but i understand why they’re mad that the media isn’t giving them the credit they deserve. They’ve dominated all year and are led by a 26 & 27yo… who are still probably a couple years from their prime.

No one saw this coming because they don't watch the Mavericks, because they're infected with the narrative, because they only believe in the same basketball technic, in the same basketball school that they have been relevant all these years and that's the reason that they don't see the point. Everyone was sure that the Dallas Mavericks would at best in the play in the play-ins and lose there, they ended up finishing fifth and if they didn't have so many injuries through the season, they would definitely have managed to finish the season in the top 2. Nobody knew that they would beat the Clippers, everyone said there was no way the Mavericks could beat OKC, in the end, almost everyone said that those who believe the Mavericks will beat the Timberwolves are crazy and delusional, and that they know nothing about basketball. How interesting because those of us who follow the Mavericks and understand the character and true image of Luka and Kyrie knew that the Dallas Mavericks had become something special. Players with the greatest gift and talent can often fail simply because they don't have complementary players around them who understand the philosophy and abilities of the leading player in the team. After the trade, I immediately felt, already in the first game against OKC, that Luka and Kyrie finally have the right teammates who enhance their quality and match their quality. It doesn't matter how good the Celtics players are, even the Clippers, with the exception of Kyrie and Luka, were all better than the Mavericks individually, but as a group, they weren't good enough, even though they had four stars who can create their own shot. This is the narrative of those who are infected with it and don't understand that the league and the way the game is played has changed. The Mavericks' strongest weapon is the defense and of course offense along with the best duo of Luka and Kyrie. I won't predict the outcome of the series, but I hope the Mavericks do very well.

Only 7K in 2 days. My 2nd time checcin it out & idk. Pat just don't bring nothing for me. Thought I'd get a lil more of a defensive breakdown from his perspective. Thought he'd be humorous but mans kept saying "ones" over & over. I'm guessing he was referencing 'iso' offense? Best part of the show was Greg Anthony. Lol
