This demo on the vacuum shows it working properly. It is made to suck up leaves and not the tiny bits of debris. I hooked mine up and it did a fine job of sucking up and mulching dry leaves and not sucking up rocks, or applied mulch.

This would be perfect for me. I like the idea of a battery instead of cord and it sure looks powerful. The mulching might be good for small things to do for the garden.

I just hate dragging out cords and then winding them back up. Also sometimes you just need to go further than your cord reaches.

what was the running time for vacuum/mulch?

I have an older model of the Greenworks 40V leaf blower. Do yourself a favor and purchase the EGO battery powered one instead (it's expensive but worth it if you don't mind the weight). My Greenworks LB has a separate on-off switch which makes no sense when other LBs use the trigger to start the blower and to modulate the speed. In addition, although I have a small front porch, it takes unduly long for the blower to clear off the leaves. The Greenworks model I own may be marginally OK for small patio homes, but personally I regard it as a waste of money.

I use the ego these days, these are old videos and I have newer ones with the ego.

How long does the battery last approximately in vacuum mode? I would like to know. Thanks for your help.

Good question! I only used the vacuum mode maybe once personally but I believe maybe around 20 minutes or so. These blowers use more power than even the lawn mower. Lawn mower I was able to get double.

you should check out the inverter they have for these batteries.

My white locking tab will not go over the mulcher attachment. Feel like I am going to break it

I honestly a trying to remember how I did it, I would have to find some time to get out there and check. I havent used the mulch bag since the video and only use it for blowing off the sidewalks and drying my car. Of course the last month its been nonstop rain here and cold so I have done zero yard work. I use my mower to pick it all up.

@@Jakereviewsall the only way I can install is to clip in the white locking mechanism first then wiggle it in the other side which is a major PIA

As a vacuum, this is anemic at best, just got one :( . Battery won't last long either :( .

I agree the vacuum is crap on it, the blower worked great but the battery life could have been better. I got better battery life on the mower. I have been using an ego for the last year and it works great but does not have the vacuum.
