Honestly, a big reason for your repeated deaths in the beginning is that you need to be prioritizing enemy spawners and other tough ones, like the brood nexus you just left there, and the breeder, and the spitballer. They'll continually hurt you until you deal with them, so do it first. But honestly, I didn't complete this elite one either so...

yeah this was a tough deep dive. Next time we will get rid of the spawners first tho

I suggest grabbing the thorns perk for higher hazard missions, it instakills any tiny swarmers you might not notice

@@DrDevvi Keep in mind though, Thorns has a .5 second cooldown so if you get attacked by 6 swarmers at once, only one of them will die until after the .5 seconds.

@@StandingWithStrangers Yeah it took me a while before I learned that. I thought I could just stand in a swarmer swarm and all the swarmers would get annihilated, but no.

@@tysoncook5152I always use my pick axe against swarmers to speed up the process while they get killed by the thorns!

Just so you know, people can't join deep dives after they have started, regardless whether they are friends or not.

I'm sorry to tell you this brother... but dwarves cannot join whilst doing a deep dive/elite deep dive. You have to wait in the space rig in order for people to join. EDD's (Elite Deep Dives) are really tough and it will require more experience and practice! Wait until you got more overclocks and maybe get some greybeards to help you! Rock And Stone!

I suggest that you do not freeze Glyphid Dreadnoughts, because their stomp animation significantly speeds up!

This one was particuarly difficult I rememeber. The Terrain sucked for fighting the Dreadnought in that first mission. The one that's up now is much easier I found

One tip for Deep Dives is that people can't join mid-dive like normal missions. So if you want some randoms to join you have to wait in the lobby after selecting the mission for it to fill up. Which I recommend, doing an EDD with just 2 people is pretty dang hard even for graybeards. Also limited time use skills like Iron Will "Recharge" after each stage, so if you use it on the first one then you can use it agin in the 2nd & 3rd
