Please stay away from Samsung mobiles as this is my experience with the S23 ultra which I bought on Feb 23 on Oct 23 I noticed pink color line in the display which is due to Samsung software issue, not a human error. After approaching Samsung they fixed the issue by just replacing the LCD display when i approached them for an extended warranty they refused to take my extended warranty request. One Plus gives life term free display replacement warranty but Samsung refuses to extend it. But if the same issue occurs post-warranty expiration i have to bear the cost of LCD replacement which is not at all acceptable from Samsung. Ideally, they should issue a warranty for software-related issues not human errors. Please share this to samsung and all customers to be aware.

Lesson learnt: Never do a software update.

The solution is to replace your phone screen sir. There is no software solution for this. Once the line is there it can only multiply and never disappear.

My OnePlus 9r got the same issue after an update. It was out of warranty but the service center changed the screen for free. They check the phone condition, if it is good they will change screen for free. Thumbs up for OnePlus service 👍

Culprit is Samsung... SAMSUNG dominates OLED display market and they have some manufacturing issue. Everyone who uses OLED display faces this issue. Only few like SONY uses LG OLED.

I got this issue two months ago on my Note 20 ultra. Replaced a new screen and today I got green line again. Imagine spending 280 usd to replace the screen just to have the issue again!!! F you Samsung!!!!! This is the last phone I buy from them!

Understand this, all phones having an Amoled display are at risk. Amoled displays are prone to degradation over time. I have seen this issue in all major brands like Samsung iPhone oppo vivo oneplus etc and usually happens in older devices.

I've seen a lot of person having a phone with this issue...they mostly use the phone with the green line..brands have to think of customers and service it without any charges even if it is out of warranty

It is intentional and that's why onplus brand value should collapse and no one should buy there phone. They became greedy.

Bro but my whole screen becomes green when it's off and when I on it to do some work it gets normal and my battery is draining a lot and it switches off automatically. My phone's model is REALME 9 PRO PLUS. I have replaced the display once

I didn’t update my One Plus 8T since an year . don’t even install a security patch. But 3 days ago a pink line appears while I am using it. It has not fallen and I keep it like a new born baby. So this logic is not just flawed but lacks essential data to back it up. Also voltage changes would not make current flow across straight line.

Yes

To prevent grean lines use original charger according to phones charger capacity don't use hight watt charger for the phone who does not spprt fast charging and also don't upgrade your software if you have android 11 or 12 don't update it and if you have android 10 you can update it to 11 but i will recommend you to not update 11 or 12...

Can't, we uninstall the recent updates? Due to which this issue is happening... Companies should give us this feature to uninstall the last updates. Or Companies should keep a testing phone before they release the update, They need to check that in the testing phone first and then they should release the update officially for all.

In real me gt master edition left side green light from ....after update

Pink lines were observed on OnePlus 8T after an update. I took it to OnePlus service centre and they fixed it in 10 mins for free.
