The most underrated movie of DC Universe. For me 2000 to 2012 was a green era for DC. They did so much. We for the first time ever got green lantern in live action. I remember as a kid I watched this and superman returns (but I watched this movie before superman returns). Green Lantern was my first favorite superhero because of this movie🔥♥️.

I think it suffered massively by coming out during the height of the Dark Knight Trilogy and early days of the MCU. It couldn’t stand to those comparisons. But now we’re in a landscape where, with some notable exceptions, the standard comic book movie is getting more mediocre. Therefore this movie, to me anyway, is starting to feel just kind of average as opposed to some sort of disaster. Haha

Overall the movie was alright. It had many flaws and just Wasn't appealing. I thought Ryan was perfect for the Hal but the script sucked and that made the movie awful. I hated the CG suit, bad first enemy, Sinestro wasn't developed enough, I can go on and on but I hope that there is a sequel or a reboot soon

The costume was CGI too! It was awful to look at. The acting in this movie was good though. If they had just focused on Hal becoming Green Lantern and training to fight Parallax, it would have been a better movie! But they made it to much like a soap opera that it just plain sucked. Love the acting, everyone was pretty good (Especially the guy that played Hector!) Everything else sucked.
