Let's hope this channel stays up. There is some chance. It has only 33 subscibers. I noted those that have more subscribers got taken down recently. The guy that had the other Kurt-AI covers got taken down because of... what was the main concern... unsolved lingering copyright-issues and some moral/ethical problem of making the voice of a dead person sing tunes they might not have wanted to sing. If Frances Bean was objecting to the use of her father's voice (But I still think somebody should dedicate to her the interview-voice of her father reading Süsskinds Perfume, because I'm certain Kurt would have liked to read that to her at some point), I'd support her wanting to stop it, but if it's just those greedy Industry-behemoths that tackle channels with some 150 subscribers that have their main goal on experimenting with a new technology and fan-to-fan-service the shame is on them.

@@MagnaMater2 Damn, I would have not guessed that. Well, I was in a way thinking about making my own Kurt AI, but that would take lots of effort, dude No doubt it is next level, musically speaking. It is great to see how it all works in different songs, musical contexts The other day I, found SpongeBob singing a Nirvana song (Stain) and it was great lots of things working for me harmonically in relation to the song. Whichever the case, I have also noticed that most of this AI at times miss it when mixing the songs, either that or the person behind them. They might take away all the channels but they won't take away the ability for you to make those. And it is very likely for this nonsense to get forgotten in the future for best, since this AI thing keeps improving getting better and better, more and more people will no doubt use it and get more Kurt AI, AI singers in general. They can not stop it, dude, for now you can either wait for this to get lost or start making them this yourself. I would assume it would take its fair amount of time to make good stuff, I might try this in the future time allowing. Even if you get bad songs, they are interesting to listen to in my opinion.

@@lmclrain Exactly my thoughts, I think this AI-thing is highly fascinating, and I'm positive it will always need 'musical professionals', that check and correct the outcome. (And I do not think there is a right on a dead person's voice, not 30years after their death, otherwise voice-imitators wouldn't be allowed to exist, either.) I can understand, that there might be hardcore fans, and Kurt-Lovers that are appalled by it. Though I am apalled by the saint-cult that is growing around him. He was a bloody human, and troubled, too. Asides he was an anti-establishment-punk, he'd very likely say: "Hey, it's against the industry? Everybody sample the heck out of me!" I wasn't much into Nirvana during their 'high time' then thinking it just noise, but once you develop a tinnitus you get more tolerant to anything that can drown it out, and I found Nirvana with their high level of 'background-noise' suddenly perfect. But I may not judge hardcore fans, because I prefer AI-Kurt singing songs I myself like better, too. And 'set fire on the rain' was - though far from perfect - really funny, given he wrote a song with a similar title himself. And the song the other channel-maker made on my request, Bad Religion's 'Better off Dead' in the unplugged Anathema version might have sounded a bit cynic and bitter, since it might have been written because of Kurt and arranged as an accousuc instrumental with cello in memory of Kurt, by an artist that toyed with the idea of offing himself but got around the idea, and I noted it got tons of views but almost no likes, because 'true' fans were upsat and probably flagged it, but it was a double tribute, and adding the channel-maker bothering with it, even a triple-tribute, and just as I had expected: it suited his unplugged voice perfectly. If it hadn't been published after his death, he might have sung it himself, it being in my ears clearly anti-self-harm, but don't discuss with moralsour folks that fail to understand cynicism and irony.

I'm a fan of Kurt Cobain/Nirvana but his voice isn't always that close to being on key and that's what made him who he was and is
