Ya, a lot of apartments just north of the former CNW depot. I understand originally Walmart wanted to build there but that proposal got killed. North Broadway is cleaned up too.

Many changes in old down town G B. when the old PORT PLAZA MALLwas ripped down for the new office block plus directly east the old Hotel Northlands was a dwelling for seniors and handicapped but now restored to 1930s art decoelegance!!!! Lambeau Stadium 🏟 is Greatly expanded after K-MART went bancrupt and ripped down for new hotels apartments and offices!! But sadly the NATIONAL RAILROAD MUSEUM has suffered greatly by losing 40 different diesels and coaches and freight cars after the 1980s when the NRRM was run to death by the Outside Management Group who destroyed 23 trains like the steam powered crane from the Appleton Paper mill; and the Pickle car with wood barrels; and the 1934 Plymouth centrecab from Missouri when it was donated by that family in 1961 this Orange Plymouth was supposed to switch the engines and coaches and pull the short passenger on the tiny loop of track but broke in 1963 and only sitting but never repaired, until destroyed in 1984 during the early winter in November 1984 and thankfully I got some slides and photos of the Destruction but I was threatened with arrest for Trespassing!!!!! But the Destruction has continued!! In 2001 the 2 British Luxurious Pullman kitchen cars were loaded onto flatcars and shipped back to Great Britain 🇬🇧 due to the heavy damage from weather and Vandalism yet both the LYDIA AND ISLE OF THANET have been rebuilt by the dedicated staff and volunteers in England!!!! Yet also destroyed was the old CNW Turntable that sat out from over 30 years!! Also in 2008 when yet another Manager replaced yet another, he sold 7 diesels!!!!!!! Including the large Milwaukee Road E8am number 38athat was scheduled for rebuilding!! ((but also a remote possibility of a Double header Diesel excursion with its sister E-9-A-M down in Illinois at the I.R.M. since 37-A is fully Operational still need new paint!!)) Sadly the unique combination of both 37a and 38a is Doomed FOREVER!!!! AND, in 2008 this manager also sold the 3 set diesels of EMD F7 A-B-A up North to Escanaba but still stored outside during the past 35 years!!! Unfortunately these 3 F7s haven't run since 1993 and thus require the Major Rebuilding and Expensive parts...if we can buy them back we can start some brand new Mainline Excursions based on either the CNW 400, OR MILWAUKEE ROAD HIAWATHA!! SADLY, the NRRM also Evicted the h.o. scale model rr club from out of the HOOD JUNCTION DEPOT that was their home base for 19 years!! ((Also I Steven, was one of the first charter members; and also the full time employee of the NRRM from 1984to 1989 with numerous jobs like tour guide and train conductor and Groundskeeper and picnic planner for bus tours!! But also in 1989 these different managers tried to build a fake steam locomotive 🚂 but with the small diesel switcher disguised as the coal tender and that is much too slow and weak and easily breaks down!!! But sadly even after the past 35 years of failure the new lady president completely refuses to see reason to other plans to rebuild this little 102 the 2-8-2 Mikado from Baldwin in 1924 (plus now in 2024A.D is the 100th Anniversary of 102), and rebuild 102 into a 100-0/0 honest and true real Steam locomotive 🚂 👍; but the 2nd option is to simply rebuild 102 as a regular idle display engine!! Unfortunately there are even more than 40 stories of the trains that disappeared!! The next 2 engines that have disappeared are the EMD BL2 uniquely designed engines; they arrived in July 2001 with the 3 F7a set. But recently stored on the WSOR RR Roundhouse in Janesville!! However shortly in 2008 the 2. BL2 engines were sold to the New York shortline in Saratoga who rebuilt them to run on their excursions!! Sadly the Saratoga rr went bancrupt!! And the 2-two- BL2's were sold yet again now to Ohio that runs on the old HOOSIER VALLEY MINE!! ALSO AT NRRM are the unfinished Rebuilding projects started by volunteers but they were chased away after 1990!!! ThesE projects are still the; Gbw 315 Alco C430 that is left outside for 35 years but is a hulk that is rusted and gutted for Alco parts!! Soo line w1 steam wrecker crane that really looks like a wreck because the wooden cab body was destroyed in 1989!!! Lima Shay 5 narrow guage built in 1917, but sitting on a red flatcar, yet disassembled back in 1988 and unfinished since the last 35 YEARS!!!!! PLEASE GOD ALMIGHTY HELP THE NRRM BE TEBUIKT INTO THE FAMOUS RAIL MUSEUM IT USED TO BE BACK IN THE 1960S!!! AMEN!!!!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY 2024A.D!! GOD ✝️ BLESS YOU AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏 🙌 ❤ 💙!!!!! GLORY ALLELUIA 🥰 😇 🎼!!! AMEN 🙏 🙏 🙏!!!

Thank goodness for folks like that who picked up the camera and got the whole scene not just the train. Being only four or five it was too soon for my own railroad Adventures. Thanks much for bringing these to the big screen 3:44
