Yes and yes. Comfy shoes essential. We absolutely loved it but to be transparent and mention a few potential challenges for those with kids: Athens is incredibly hot in summer, Santorini involves a lot of steep stairs and uphill walking and donkey poop in high traffic tourist areas, lot’s of stray cats in Greece in general, and you can’t flush toilet paper. Yet, no stray dogs (which is common in places such as Italy), no sharks or dangerous wildlife (that I am aware of), a summer wind that always blows in the Islands, Greek hospitality, are among some of the many things that make it wonderful destination for kids.
Amazing video. I love how detailed it is, and gives a good idea of how things are. We are headed to Santorini, Naxos, Athens (and other places) in June. Your video really helps!

@@Nishta87 hi, we booked Kastro. You have to pick a 2 hr time slot and research the sunset times for that time of year. In June usually between 7 and 8. It was a 45 Euro minimum per person and no cancellation. There are other options but we really enjoyed the meal and the staff were amazing. IMO, sunset in Imerivigli is just as beautiful but so much less crowded.

Hi Nicole, so total days in Greece 9. (+2 travel days getting there and back) Day 1, arrival in Athens (1 night stay), day 2 Ferry to Naxos (4 nights stay), Ferry to Santorini (2 nights stay), flight back to Athens (2 nights stay). Overnight hotel on the way back - total of 12 days away from home. We flew out on the 25th of June and arrived in Athens on the 26th. We headed out after arrival to help adjust to jet lag. I advise to avoid sleeping (even if you are tired) if you arrive during the day. Get out, grab a bite and try to fall asleep at night local time. Will really pay off for the rest of the trip.
