I like what Mama had to said at the end. I never hear the second clip
My god, what would we ever have done without his brilliant woman and all the brilliant people she surrounded herself with? And still to this day at 91 years old. Notice how so many genius comedic performers live very long lives? So many great shows in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The best variety/comedy show that was ever on television.
Even in 2024, this show makes me laugh so hard, tears run down my face. It’s called timeless talent.
A true American treasure, and one very sexy, very funny woman. Love you Carol. Thank you for the decades of entertainment.

You pretty much wrote what I was thinking. I absolutely love Carol. Mom and I watched her show as I was growing up. We never missed an episode. She saved us. My dad died suddenly as he came home late one night from work when I was six years old. Carol carried us through the tough times. God Bless her.
It must have been great fun working with Miss Burnett 😂
For my graduate degrees I stayed almost 9-10 years in the USA. Carroll Burnett and Johny Carson made it pleasant. Thank you.
100% CLASSY, INTELLIGENT, AND TALENTED HUMOR!!! And that we can watch with our kids too without sensoring foul language or inuendo!!!
Now this is comedy!
The entire cast earned their spot in eternity with the “Elephant story “! ❤❤😂😂😂
Carol is now and will forever be a national treasure.
I will ALWAYS cherish Carol Burnett's show as the best comedy of all time! =)
My favorite comedy variety show growing up. They don’t make them like this anymore. Carol Burnett is the best. She and the cast always had me in stitches. They still do. I still watch this on streaming.
The funniest woman to ever walk the earth.
This was when comedy was real comedy!
Carol Burnett is a treasure!!! She's so sweet and kind and the funniest woman that's ever lived!!! I love her dearly!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can't say enough about all of them 😮😮😮😮😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The most talented group ever to be on one tv show!!
The lip sync was hilarious!!! I nearly peed my pants!!!!
Wow! And not one of them was mean-spirited. Truly funny.
What a genius she is.
Still hilarious, after all these years!
Now this is good comedy.

Great Clean Comedy A Lost Art Today
I love her, she’s been one of my idols since I was a kid. My parents would let me stay up an hour later to watch her show 😊
Should have played all of the Siamese elephants with Tim Conway.
I remember all of these. This is when we had real comedy shows.
WOW, they were excellent!!! 😳❤️❤️❤️
Loved Carol and all the cast she is unique and one of the best shows ever on the small what a talent
How much u wanna bet that was Tim in the gorilla suit.

Crack-your-ribs-laughing comedy!
That lip syncing was actually incredible!

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
hugs....p.s. I'm lucky like #456! 😁
You missed the greatest prank of all! After Conway (for the 2nd time) went off script to break everyone Vikki Lawrence was ready to get him back. When Carol finally manages to say to Vikki, "Go on momma - read the card." Vikki said, "I don't know, is that little shit through yet?" and everybody lost it!
First time I've seen the lip sync. 👍👍
There are three known versions of the Tim Conway elephant joke. Tim could be pretty vulgar in private, so one elephant joke was never told on stage, that was reserved for court comedy after dinner with friends. The second elephant joke had varying levels of vulgarity depending on how Tim read the audience at the time. The third version was pretty tame and was ad libbed during the above take. -- The morning this was recorded there was a cast meeting and Carol insisted everybody act right so they could get their takes done on time. Then the dress rehearsal was filmed with Tim telling the version with the elephant and the dwarf... Right on the line for a stage joke, but it ties right in with the vulgar version, and Carol was breaking up. Vicki Lawrence knew exactly what Tim was doing, he was being evil, and she was piqued at Carol for breaking up after being the one who insisted in the earlier meeting on everybody acting right to get the rehearsal and takes done on time. So after the rehearsal there is a break when you have time to eat, get ready to shoot the scene, and when the director comes in to give stage notes before you go out. That day the director came in and told Vicki that the elephant joke was changed and said "Good Luck!". Vicki's husband worked on the set and she was advised to "go get him"... And she did. She floored Tim who was already on the verge of losing it, Carol was long gone... And then Dick Van Dyke falls over.... Mama never flinched.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
😂😂😂😂😂
This was back when television was great today you pay a $100 a month for crap
👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣
Carol Burnett was the true queen of comedy not Lucille ball.
I wonder how good would it have been without Harvey and Tim
How does the video quality get worse year after year? Are you still using VHS?!

Young people today will be watching old clips of today's shows and saying the same thing about entertainment in 2063.
What I find fascinating is the audience, not a brown or black face to be seen. A sign of the times
