This is one of the rare cases where I have played a game before you get a new video up about it. I know it is your intention to capture the feel of playing a game, rather than the exact rules, and I think you definitely capture the feel of GWT. "Oh, I don't have enough money." 0:38 seconds into this video, as well as other times!

Kenny Barrese I did the same thing, played it and watched this after. Much more enjoyable now that I've heard Richard explain the "logic" of the mechanics

Another great video Richard. You always have a lovely way of explaining how the game mechanics work using strong narrative. I played the game and the delivery/train rules made no sense to me thematically even though I understood how the rules worked. Your story on how the cows are delivered and positioning of the trains 🚂 helped.

At 22:25, Jen should draw the card into her hand before choosing her discard when she used her auxilliary action, though in this case it didn't matter. Great playthrough, by the way!

7:44 buy the train = 3 gold + 1gold auxiliary = 4gold + 2gold from the angus =6 gold is exactly what you need for the swiss brown

Regarding the 16:33 comment about not paying... he *did* pay at 14:40 but then kept talking for two minutes about placing disks. :)

He paid the wrong amount though. He counted from the Blue train and he is the yellow train so he should have paid six instead of three.

22:36 Shouldn't you be able to clear the 'black' obstacle instead of the 'blue' one ?

When you take the clear obstacle action you can clear any obstacle you want

nope, they mean if you've got a double aux action unlocked you can do that specifically. you can't do two single seperate aux actions

Am I the only one that noticed the F tile was in the wrong place the whole time? Curse you OCD!!

I've never played but a friend owns this game so I am trying to prepare to play it. at about 26:00 instead if selling your only white cattle for $2 could you have done your auxillary action to make $2?
