There's no reason why they were disbanded. Still extremely popular and sold a lot of records - no friction in the group, no one was ready to leave - at their height they were every bit as popular as Red Velvet - I just don't understand it. As huge a Buddy as I am, watching Viviz isn't quite the same.

Dreamcatcher's friend CLC had a more successful debut than Minx, and had the potential to be "big" in USA and Europe. Yet Cube mismanaged and ignored the group, even rejected them to go to USA to attend an event ( invitation from USA, air tickets sponsored by CLC Sorn ). CLC potential wasted unlike Dreamcatcher, reborned from Minx.

@@DreamyCheshire-up9rf another reason why agency is part of one's success. It's so unfortunate this happened to CLC, and many other groups that went through similar situation. CLC's songs are such bangers 🤘🏻 I know many have said it a lot but I'm glad HFE didn't give up with Minx :")

So many Gfriend songs in this list, I'm happy and sad at the same time... hopefully they will make good on the promise to reunite soon. Also, for Minx. I don't consider them disbanded at all, they just added 2 members, changed their name/concept and are doing fine right now (Comeback in a few weeks!!!)

NU'Est, Block B, Wanna One, MBlaq, 2NE1, Miss A, SISTAR and Best Absolute Perfect (B.A.P.) went way back in the early Y2K era and most of their songs are really good from their first debuts. TroubleMaker was one of the controversial but one of the best top songs.

Please never change your intro. I don't watch the videos regularly(anymore) and it's always great to watch. Feels like I'm coming back home after years

I did not realize Hot Issue and GIRLKIND had disbanded!! Miss A and SECRET were so iconic and I low-key cried when BVNDIT showed up on this list. I miss them so much omfg. I'm still not over NU'EST disbanding on their 10th anniversary. I still listen to STELLAR's Archangels of the Sephiroth to this day. It's such a banger!!! I'm genuinely SHOCKED that no one voted for Kiss&Cry's "Domino Game"!!!!

Gugudan deserved way better. The girls were so talented and Jellyfish just threw it away and didn't really use their talent to their benefit at all whatsoever. Hopefully the girls are happy with whatever they are doing and are just happy in general.

Volume up, Madonna, Don't Believe, Rough, Cha Cha, Face, Alone, Not that type, Me gustas tu, E.R, Bang!, This is War, Whatta Man and all of B.A.P., SISTAR & 2NE1 songs will forever have special place in my heart💔

NU'EST's discography was the best out of many 3rd Gen K-pop groups. They probably are the one of the senior-most 3rd Gen idols that debuted in 2012. I loved them to pieces. I will never forgive HYBE for what they did. Two of the members said it wasn't their decision and that none of the members knew what was coming up. Their entire discography was top tier. •FACE •HELLO •BET BET •LOVE ME •INSIDE OUT •AGAIN (their d!sbandment song released 1 day after their d!sbandment as a goodbye song and a celebration for their 10th anniversary on 15th March, 2022- their debut date[15th March, 2012]) while they dissolved on 14th March, 2022. Also, some addictive songs of *NU'EST W* - (sub-unit of 4 members when Minhyun was in Wanna One) ~ Where You At? (First song as subunit after PD101 S2) ~ DEJA VU ( one of the best songs in the industry) ~ Help Me

@@gwenmloveskpopcecmore Definitely HYBE... PLEDIS surely with the speculations was preparing for a comeback for their 10th anniversary and BOOM!! HYBE did it all. Something went wrong in January becoz NU'EST said to excitedly look forward to them in 2023 in all the year end shows of 2022. Also, when Pledis existed as a independent company, even in their lowest time before Produce 101 S2 with no money or popularity, they released 2-3 comebacks per year, and later too... But after the merge, they got only one in 2021, and no comeback in 2022. They were the 2nd most popular group in 2019 surpassing two of the legendary EBS. That's it, HYBE took the opportunity the next year and threw them down a dark path.

In my personal journey of kpop, B.A.P. had the most successful debut I've seen coming from a small company. Their debut song, Warrior, was so damn catchy and they were consistent in their musical style with their next releases (at least up to a point). I liked them because early in their career, their music was mainly hiphop/rock, which people would nowadays call "noise music". I liked BTS when they debuted because their music was mainly hiphop/rock too, which reminded me of BAPs. I'm the type of fan who likes artists based on their music so whenever they change their music style, I kind of lose interest. Idol groups I liked often debuted with an angst-y hiphop/rock or "noise music" kind of sound, then they'd try cutesy bubblegum or summer beach pop, then sexy ballad, then hiphop again--it's a cycle in kpop so I just become a fan, lose interest, then become a fan again and again. So far groups that seemed the most consistent in producing the type of music I like were Block-B and, now, Stray Kids. Sure they've dabbled in some cutesy stuff too but that's just like a song or two and not even the main single, the majority of all their albums have been consistently electronic/hiphop aka "noise music" and i love their consistency. that must be the advantage of being self-produced. They have control over their own musicality so they produce the kind of music they want without pesky producers pushing them to do music that would personally make them secretly (or outwardly) cringe whenever they listen, sing, or dance to it. Among the girl groups, I remember being most impressed with Spica because at the time, it was the only kpop girl group I knew where every member seemed to have a powerful singing voice. In other girl groups, one can easily tell who is the lead or main vocalists because others obviously have weaker or mediocre singing ability, but with Spica, every member may have different voices but each of them is clearly a highly-competent singer who could easily be a soloist.

I love Cross Gene "voted by K-VILLE", you are not allowed to forget about Cross Gene when watching K-Ville! It may already be the intro, but it's a friendly reminder who that song is by lol

My biggest would have been HISTORY but this was a great list and some of these groups I didn't realize had disbanded :(

The thing about Berry Good is that all of their songs are amazing. And don’t get me started on how good Hot Issues discography is. Also, Veddy I love you for voting Archangels of Sephiroth. That song and whole mini was amazing and we never got to see enough of Soyoung. I loved her vocal tone.

Man out of all of these groups i still feel like MADTOWN was done the worse. They were disbanded and it wasn't even their choice 😔 having the owner of their new label being caught as a fraud with money and forcing them to disband was truly unfair. You can clearly see that those boys were scarred from the incident and almost all of them never resurfaced in public again. 💔😭

I hate that kpop is so competitive. All these groups could still be around. everyone still have their careers that they've trained so hard for.

The same thing you said about Block B technically not being disbanded can also be said about CLC. The members (almost) all left Cube, but Sorn specifically has said multiple times that CLC is not disbanded and they'll reunite again. But if it'll be under a different name (since Cube owns the name) we'll have to wait to find out

Gfriend isn't technically disbanded, it was more of member's contracts getting terminated by the company so they venture into solo work & units that they wanted to try. The girls have mentioned many times they will reunite. Its more of a unsure hiatus as their name trademark that Source music is trying to get has been rejected so it is unsure if the girls will take it up any time soon. But they have mentioned they will meet fans in their 8th anniversary

Buddys know they are not really 'disbanded' (Sowon made that pretty clear), but we can't expect casual fans or anyone else to be conscious of that. So it's fine that they are considered disbanded by the rest of the world, what's important is that they officially reunite eventually.

I don't understand what Block B is doing in this video, they haven't disbanded. There were no official announcements about their disband. And I'm grateful for the fact that the K-Ville clarified the situation.

I would have liked that they had put orange Caramel and ladies' Code, Babyboo, T-ara, AOA among others but I liked the video and it made me remember how kpop was before today it is very American

Gugudan is the first kpop group i discovered so i’m surprised that they disbanded alr despite that they are so underrated but having so many good songs

4:48 CLC are missed dearly in todays kpop world. They had some of the best girl power sounds ever.

Yeah. I missed CLC. CLC Sorn said that the group is not disbanded. However, CLC Seunghee and CLC Eunbin had switched career track to acting, CLC Elkie had returned back to China and CLC Yeeun had gone solo. So, if by any chance, CLC is reunited. It would probably only consist of CLC Sorn, CLC Seungyeon and CLC Yujin. A far cry from the best girl power sounds ever. Still, Cheshire would support them on their new journeys.

Soumu don't have any other option.From the rumor i heard before Soumu must to "sacrificed" Gfriend to debuting Le sserafim and then bamm thing really happen.. you want something,you must lose something too.Disbanding Gfriend or Le sserafim not gonna be exist.

I just found this song yesterday, already on my playlist :) It's really sad, there are so many groups that disbanded way too soon not because of lack of talent, but money/management issues.

I'll never stop saying it... FACE by NU'EST is/was the best boy group debut song in Kpop. Periodt. edit: actually nevermind, Bad Boy by 100% is the best boy group debut song. Maybe tied with FACE. Also Replay by SHINee is pretty iconic, even though it's not exactly my style, it was a Moment in Kpop. I'm sure there's more but those are the ones that stick in my heart.

Dalmantian ER and Spica was such a bop! They both are talented members that sang really well and actually have good songs

So many heartbreaks and tears watching this video, while seeing so many amazing bands gone to history. Despite if they were super popular or not, all of those artists put their heart and soul into their craft and they deserve respect. Salut to all and hopefully they'll keep on doing great.

I miss Berrygood 🥺 they're my ultimate bias group. They have a good discography 😭

I guess it was to be expected for B.A.P to make it to this list but it still shook me. I miss these boys!

Luckily, Brave Girls are now continuing as BB Girls under a different agency.

@@jmsoriano6296 Yeah… almost six months after their last album, they terminated their contracts last November. They barely lasted three years. 😭

So sad Bugaboo BlingBling and Hot Issue’s careers were cut short too soon. 4th gen groups that deserved better. They all only got to drop their debut album then have 1 comeback album only to disband.

Not me casually bopping to this playlist completely forgetting the title 😭😭😭 I had no idea about BVNDIT. They are far too talented to already disband.

I highly approve of the thumbnail for this video! Berry Good's Don't Believe was an iconic bop! IMFACT also had a lot of slept-on bops
