They're ok if they're cooked, but raw is bad. I also found out that though we can give my heeler bacon, it causes life threatening pancreatitis in Great Danes.

Next time, try it on the floor. Get them to lay down in front of you. Use your hands to give them food. It will seem more like treats. Also- raw potatoes may give dogs (and people) salmonella.

So I could not comment on when you got astro he is so beautiful and so cute you did so good with astro so proud he is a good fit for you but me he way Taller are as tall as me I'm 4"11 so the frist time I seen a great dane I was 9 and we was eyebal and eyeball it was kinda freaky but amazing at the same time lol
