From Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th October, the Great Central Railway held their annual Autumn Steam Gala event. There were 8 locomotives in steam for the event. 6 home fleet members being 6990 'Witherslack Hall' (masquerading as 6988 'Swithland Hall', 78018, 78019, 92214, 73156 and 48305. These locomotives were joined by two guest locomotives, both were Western Region locomotives. 2999 'Lady of Legend' and 57XX Pannier Tank 7714. Also in service during the event was a Class 101 with Railcar 'Iris' and Class 37 D6700.
The event saw an intensive timetable with both passenger and freight trains running. There were local services running to Rothley as well.

We spent the day at Quorn & Woodhouse station. The first shot was filmed in the car park in the field. Due to foliage there isn't now a lot of opportunities for shots, so the rest of the shots were filmed around the station.
