The English were not an ancient maritime power, read Roman history. Spain which was closer to the biblical lands may have been Tarshish.

Not wrong, English arent really Ancient, Welsh are more Ancient into Britain, as when Celts went to Spain then moved to Prydain, Welsh is alot closer to Spain that u think

Wow. CHILLS!! I’m absolutely amazed and electrified. I had never even thought about the British Isles having played a role in biblical events. This is revelatory for me. I hadn’t realized the extent to which I’d thought of our people as having been entirely foreign and separate from all the biblical events in history, only becoming connected through belief in Jesus, not through a shared history (other than in the remotest past through Adam and Eve). I once thought of the Bible as the violent, primitive little book of a bunch of desert savages (much in the same vein as Christopher Hitchens). The more I learn, the more I am humbled by its unfathomable depths of wisdom and riches. Thank you for this, brother. Your work has been such a source of wonder and joy for me, always turning my eyes back to Jesus Christ and His Word with new and greater understanding. Marvelous!

The following is something I wrote on Facebook, but on second thought I think it should be posted here as well: Thanks for your presentation. I have a couple of questions. I've been reading old books written by historicist expositors. So far I've read Albert Close's book 'The Divine Programme of the World's History', 1916, and E.P. Cachemaille's 'The Prophetic Outlook To-day', 1918. Two things concern me, one is Israel and the other British-Israelism. First, about Israel - aren't we as the church, the Israel of God? Also, wasn't the modern state of Israel a product of the Jesuits? Israel fits into the prophetic scheme of Futurism. Second, this study you have done is very interesting, but is it really true? I started reading a book that seems to be the original book on British-Israelism entitled 'The Fulness of the Nations' by Herbert Aldersmith, 1898, resident doctor at Christ’s Hospital. Unfortunately, the good doctor also co-authored a book on pyramidology as well which strikes him out as a trustworthy character and certainly not someone I will waist my time reading about his British-Israeli theories. I do want to get to the truth in these two matters as I am a genuine student of the bible. British-Israelism has had a number of proponents over the years, one being Armstrongism, another being the Christadelphians. As an Australian, it certainly pricks my interest as the ANZACS played a big part in defeating the Turks in October, 1917 at the Battle of Beersheba and my national pride would like to think we are 'young lions'. But one has to be careful to not let national pride influence our perspective and how we view prophecy. The truth must be paramount don't you think? This question has come up before me a number of times over the years and it's certainly intriguing. Maybe you don't believe in British-Israelism, Maybe you are just interpreting these texts without any pre-concieved ideology behind it at all. You tell me. Cachemaille mentioned Gog and Magog in his 1918 book 'The Prophetic Outlook Today'. He said that Magog was the Roman Earth which is the territory that Rome ruled being Europe and Gog was the Papacy. Of course Cachemaille couldn't foresee the advent of the European Union, which I understand is ruled by the Papacy. Another thing I wanted to talk about is the church. What I mean is the church you associate and belong to as a member and likewise myself. I have come to a conclusion that the internet is not the church by any stretch of the imagination. It can only be an exchange of ideas and information. The 'real' church is at your home and in the local community of believers in your neighbourhood, extending to the distance you can comfortably travel to for fellowship. Forget any notions of any meaningful fellowship on the internet. It just does not exist. Your thoughts are welcome. Almost forgot - even if this is all true, the unbelief in our respective nations makes a mockery of any notions of being God's instruments to work out His purposes. Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and the USA are not the Christian nations they were when the Wesley brothers preached in their lands, well, Great Britain and the USA at least. The first fleet arrived in Australia in 1788, three years before John Wesley died at age 87. And let's not forget South Africa, which would have definitely been one of those 'young lions' and is now nonexistent except if you count the many South Africans who have sought refuge here in Australia. You also count India and I assume that would also include Pakistan and Bangladesh as well. This movement of the 'young lions' must be purely political and never spiritual as you have the great-grand children of apostate Christians in Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and the USA and the heathens in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. A revival is needed and has never come to our lands as hoped for by our chaplains in the Great War who saw the bitterness of the war eat a cancerous hole in the souls of our nations. Jesus also directed his followers to do likewise.

I am now a confirmed believer that the British people (and other northern European nations) are the ten lost tribes of Israel. This conviction came about through the bible studies where there is over-whelming evidence to support such a claim.

Your insight is amazing.I wonder if you have researched the origins of the Lion Rampant. I have Scotland under William the Lion first used it. However there was no explanation of why. This predated the use of the lion by Richard the lionheart. I hope you make a video of that subject. Thank you.

The jury is still out. I don't know about these 'Ships of Tarshish' but I'll tell you the real meaning of Brexit is that the ten kingdoms will not unite but at least one of those nations will be separate from the rest as Dan 2: 43 says "they shall not cleave one to another, even iron as not mixed with clay". Britain has never fully united to the EU, as it has kept it's own currency and now has broken away altogether just as the prophecy foretold. Read it for yourself below: Daniel 2:40-45 King James Version (KJV) 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Well because the spiritual seed of Abraham, which in the old testament where Jews, are now believing Christians. Paul deals with that constantly in his epistles. So When the armies of Gog and Magog surround the saints those are the people in the millennium that are believers and have not been deceived by Satan. Besides why is Gog and Magog mentioned very clearly in revelation happening after the Millennium? Go with the clearer interpretation. And also current Israel is not safe at all, in fact they literally have a wall and are always under threat. Does not seem blessed in any shape or form

In order to oppose an E.U led conglomerate invasion of Israel, Tarshish ( Great Britain) has to, at some point, cease economic and political ties with the E.U. The Merchants (economic/traders) of Tarshish and it's young lions (commonwealth nations) & Sheba & Dedan ( Arabia/emirate nations) confront the invaders with a question Have you come to take a spoil? Of Goods/oil/gas/agriculture etc etc This group acting together as one is indicating they are all in economic trade (Merchants) with each other and oppose the E.U GOMER & MAGOG invasion and are in good standing with Israel. In order for this to happen, brexit is necessary. All the players are present in the region by way of the conflict in Syria and the situation with Israel and it's hostile neighbours. This is all from Ezekiel chapter 38 I recommend reading it and if you type something like merchants of Tarshish brexit into the search bar you will come up with rather good presentations which cover this subject. I have enjoyed many of them myself.

Not true! All of the OT prophesies were fulfilled and closed by 70AD. Jesus said so Himself. This constant stream of false interpretations concerning biblical prophesy on 'end times' does nothing but distract the Church from its true commission. It is destructive. Maybe that's the intention.

Well your claim is proven false by ezekiel 36 through 38. Israel are to be taken back into the land of their fathers gathered from ALL THE NATIONS.... plural not just one nation as in their captivity in Babylon. This only happened and is continuing to happen in the last 100 years. 2000 years after 70 A.D so your claim is thoroughly debunked by that one fact, not to mention the countless others i could give you, such as Isaiah, were it said that they shall look upon him who they pierced. This is referencing the second coming when those who were present will see him who they pierced.
