Amazing this video just randomly popped up on KZread. I originally went to my guitar store To buy this exact same guitar After seeing it on their website. They couldn't find it so I got an Epiphone Les Paul Custom instead at good price. After many weeks I went back to buy some other things and saw it hanging there! Because of the awesome looks and price I ended up buying that one too! Right now doing Physical Therapy with my acoustic. Then when better I will start with this one first then eventually get to the Epiphone. This one will be my upgrade/ tech learning guitar.

This guitar would be a perfect first guitar! And the purple finish on this guitar is awesome! So much better in person than on camera

I just got one of these... looking into the tuning stability it seems that the slots on the nut are cut a little tight. Either running 9-42s or touching up the slots with a set of nut files seems to work. I gave the nut a really light going over and put on some graphite. BIG improvement!

I put some Saturday Night Special pickups in mine, cant really want for more.

Hey mate ! What does the function of the kill switch knob bring to the sound ? I don't really know this function and what does it bring for the ears, please ? You talk about different sounds especially in studio... Could you explain that, please ?

I'm waiting for that guitar, It's on the way.i think that the tuning problems are from the nut,i heared some people complaining about that.Otherwise i picked that one because of the beautifull colour.Nice video

Thank you for watching! I definitely prefer a hipshot bridge, and even an evertune bridge over the TOM. But still for the price it definitely get the job done for sure

I also have Snow white color

The only thing I hate about the 256 is the fretboard, not a super big fan of the bright colored brown. Aside from that it's a decent guitar. Highly recommend one for a bigger or intermediate guitar.

I can definitely agree with that. The Jatoba VS and Ebony fretboard board ill always choose Ebony for sure!

@@HighImpaktAudio Yeah ebony pretty expensive though, to keep costs down they use this. But I would like to see them darken it somehow, maybe a wood stain or something. But all in all a great guitar.

I asked for the retailer to ship be the darkest fretboard they had in stock. They came up with the goods.

Did you use a distortion pedal? I've been trying to get that kind of sound for a while.

Actually for my tone in this video everything was from the Neural DSP Fortin NTS Suite plugin. And it has a simulation of the Fortin Hexdrive which I did have engaged. So I guess you could say I did use a distortion type pedal. I love my amps, but 9 times out of 10 I run through a drive like a tube screamer, and a great noise gate pedal before hitting the amps distortion and it always gives you an amazing buttery, and aggressive tone! :) Thank you for watching!

I dig it! I use the Focusrite Scarlett 18i 20. And yeah thats definitely a possibility! I'd like to do some more audio production type videos.

Yes the Scarlett interfaces are a great option if you don't want to spend money on a more expensive interface like the Universal Audio Apollo. I use ableton with my Scarlett and have no issues. Just have to check the latency settings in "preferences"

Thats a tough one man! I haven't played on the standard 60s les Paul. But if its anything like my epiphone les Paul that I got back several years ago. The LTD played very similar to the Epiphone. I always have a soft spot for that traditional Les Paul, but yeah that purple finish is fantastic!! 🤩 Thank you for watching dude!

It’s a shame the purple sunburst is so dark , it’s a beautiful color but looks mostly black unless it’s in perfect lighting

@@HighImpaktAudio can I listen on Spotify for some reason this riff just speaks to me and I bought this guitar for my first guitar and I always review things I buy before I buy it and I watched your video and heard the riff lol didn’t listen to the pros or cons bought the guitar so I can play the riff the exact same way lol.

The tone is huge so I can play death or black metal or harder metal on it?

I tried to do some research on this. But I don't have very much experience with the Burstbuckers. But from the look of it I've seen people have good luck with the Slash pickups from seymour duncan. And also from bareknuckle pickups the mules. From my own experience with bareknuckle pickups I can easily say that they are very much worth it, and just amazing people to work with. Enjoy the new guitar!!! 🙂
