Yay we’re back‼️ 😎 💄 👗 Ps: don’t feel too bad Nancy I’m not much of a sport fan (Even though my older brother was quite the athlete in high school.). As for Hazel good for convincing Buddy to try new things‼️ As for Buddy, I’m still mad at him for what he did to Jane and Susan, but I can’t wait to see where he’s character development goes‼️

So relieved it was saved for Digital and DVD release. Now, if we can just keep hounding stations until someone else picks the show up. Paramount might have shot itself int he foot, cancelling a show that got nominated for TWO Emmy's, even if they're both for choreography. Doen'st look that good for the platoform if they can't advertise so much as an 'Emmy nominated' show.

I've still got hope for Wally - I know we saw Rosemary rearrange her shirt at the party (and my not liking Rosemary does not make that ok) but neither he nor Buddy took part in spiking the girls drinks. Also, when Buddy told the Socs that he was going steady with Jane, Wally was the only one who smiled in an 'oh, that's nice' or 'ah, that explains it' sort of a way while everyone else looked stunned or raised an eyebrow like they were saying 'you're actually going out with that?'. Plus when Neil made another one of his bad and actually mean jokes about Jane, Wally actually welcomed Jane and added "You'll get used to him, we all have." So we know he could, even if it's just 'possibly could' situation, be a nice guy or even a good guy, he just needs to stop going along with everything his friends say and to stop making excuses for them. Plus, a bit of me's still wondering if Neil ever made jokes about him that he had to 'get used to' and what kind of jokes they'd be - Neil seems like the kind who would make racist jokes and brush it off or never even apologise for it if he was called out for it.

14:27 Rosemary wouldn't look at him or give him a word of support when he was playing badly, she only started cheering when he started playing well. Plus....no, no spoilers.

14:04 Re Baz Luhrman's filmography - to show us how shocking and wild the 1920s, the 1950s and the Moulin Rouge nightclub was. Also I guess in a way (mostly with his modern-setting Romeo and Juliet movie) to say 'the more things change, the more things stay the same'. Odd, most of the 1990s Shakespeare movies were set later than the Elizabethan period (I think they were all 19th century) and yet it's Luhrman's 1996 setting that gets people complaining about how incorrect or out of place it is. In any case, we can't say that there weren't plenty of 70s references in the original Grease movie.

It was a bad idea bringing Shakespeare into this series - I'm a MASSIVE life long Shakespeare fan and now I keep casting the Pink Ladies, the T-Birds, and some of the Socs into various roles in Shakespeares comedies. I've left no room in my casting fro anyone in the actual Drama Club except for Lydia (and I adore every one of them them so that makes me feel bad).
