these were such great interviews and questions! i'm 10x more excited now than i was before if that's even possible! i was background on this show and it was so so fun and i could tell it was gonna be really special and amazingly done, i can't wait to see all the episodes 🥰🥰🥰

Although Grease 1 has incredibly iconic numbers such as Summer Nights and Grease Lightning, I choose Grease 2 in a heartbeat! I definitely find myself rewatching it a lot more often than the first movie, because I find the characters and story more enjoyable. Cool Rider, Score Tonight and Who's That Guy are three of my all-time favorite musical numbers! 👏🏻

I was so caught off guard when Jamal asked me what my favourite song from Grease 2 was because in actuality I love basically all of them. 😂 I do tend to lean towards the bigger numbers that have lots of characters, and lots of people dancing (so if I wasn't pressed for time I would've also mentioned the opening Back to School Again number) but the solo numbers/songs that more heavily feature 1 or 2 characters (like Stephanie, Michael, or Johnny) are also really great for the way that they showcase those performers.

Whoa… the lack of grease 2 love was flabbergasting. I’ve literally watched grease 2 thrice as much as grease. Stephanie Stan all day. And Michael is so cute!

Maxwell Caulfield, Adrien Zmed, and Lorna Luft were all at the premiere for the show and PHEW, my emotions were all over the place seeing the photos/videos of them there smiling and having a fun time. 🥹

I have watched Grease 2 so much more than Grease 1. I grew up being the odd man out always preferring 2 over 1,

Jamal is the PERFECT choice as the choreographer for this as he is KNOWN to be a choreographer that the queens on Drag Race work with the best as he he always makes them all look great even when they aren't known as good movers. So basically he is just like Patricia in that way, he caters and works with each queen on their numbers, you can tell he cares when it comes to their input and wants them to look the best. He actually listens when a queen struggles and says they won't be able to nail certain moves unlike some others who shut down queens and make the choreography complex damned if the struggling queen looks good doing it.

It's funny how whenever Jamal shows up in a Drag Race episode, the edit emphasises the queens going "OMG THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN" and they're swooning, whereas your point is the more important reason why it's so great when he comes around. He is so chill and has such a great energy that you don't see the queens panicking and getting into an awkward 'fight' with him because they're struggling to learn the choreography. ☺️

Great interviews! Your questions are so good and pull out some great information (that we otherwise would not get from the usual softball questions that are more commonly asked). I love that you love Grease 2 so much, as it was released when I was a kid and I saw it (and fell in love with it) years before I ever saw Grease, so I have always preferred Grease 2 over Grease (but I also do love Grease as well). For better or for worse, my favorite song from Grease 2 is "Girl For All Seasons," and it would have been nice to have seen the whole song (as it is in the OST) performed in the film, but of course it was never meant to be, as it leads into "(Love Will) Turn Back the Hands of Time."

Thank you so much! I have often thrown in mentions of Grease 2 randomly so eventually I decided I needed to just put it on my wall for filming so that way people will always know, even if I don't verbally mention it in a video where the topic is something else. 😂

Waiting until 4/9/24 the *Return* of the pink ladies, bro

I can't tell you how happy I am to see someone be such a Grease 2 defender, I have always loved it above the first. I have never been a big fan of Grease 1 just a couple tracks that are obvious classics but grease 2 has always been the one I find myself being able to rewatch from start to finish. I respect people who love the first but I feel rose tinted glasses are part of some people's love when they argue about it's superiority and how part 2 is just garbage to them. Some things are ignored about the first to them while the love for it almost made it inevitable that no sequal would have really been embraced when John and Olivia weren't gonna be in it. I'm glad more people have been giving part 2 some love in recent years though but the hate for it should have never been there. 😉

Just remind people that Michael Carrington didn't s**ually assault Stephanie Zinone at a drive-in and then have the audacity to sing a song about how her running away from him MADE HIM SAD. Whenever I have to deal with a Grease 2 anti, I bring that up and they get real quiet. 😗 Grease 2 is absolutely the superior film and no one can talk me out of that. I have spent far more hours thinking about this topic than anyone who thinks a snide comment about it can sway me from my stance. 😂

Grease 2 all the way. Probably because I saw them out of order. Just started watching this awesome channel for Brigerton season 3 and the Grease 2 poster made me instantly subscribe! Still looking for my Cool Rider!
