It likely won't need a serious update as most features won't be effected. Future courses will build on these basics, and address some features when necessary - layer grouping comes to mind; great that they'll be added, but that won't make the information in this course obsolete. Other improvements are better explained in context.
Great introduction but feeling kinda deja vu, have you posted this section before?

At 3:50 and my 'Shift A' in Grease Pencil doesn't seem to work so I can add Suzane. I'm looking around but can't find where to turn this on. I'm in version 4.02

Alright after watching again I see you were in 'Object Mode' when you added Suzane. sry, carry on :D
How do I move in and out of camera view in Grease Pencil? I keep popping out of camera view accidentally and can't find my way back. I thought 'O' or '0' would do it but no. Using version 4.02
