One of my favorite spots in the S.E. So many options, especially if you use horse trails as connectors. Have done 20 to 60 mile loops in the area. One of my favorite memories was when I was resting on a rock when l felt a tug on my sleeve. A young pony had come up behind me to check me out.

Dude, the perfect video for me this week it’s been too long since I have been up there. Seems I was still smoking, so at least five years. I got lucky and got to see some Harrier jets close up back then. I have plan on being out a lot more soon. After thirteen years, a talented neurosurgeon was able to remove that bloody brain tumor. Dude, after thirteen years of surgeries, chemo, radiation, chemo and surgery; in that order, I am nothing bad in me. I’m so happy I literally can’t sleep. This happened on the thirteen year anniversary of the first grand mal seizures putting me in into a chemically induced coma for almost a month back in 03/21/2010. I’m being a chatty Kathy now because the reality of it is just now sinking in. I am Tumor free! Carpe Diem dude. 🤙

Another excellent adventure! The ponies were awesome. Thanks for taking us along! I'm gonna be in your neck of the woods this coming weekend. Headed to The Gorge with some day-hiking friends, so we'll be "camping" at the Lil' Abner motel in Slade. Some of them have not been to The Gorge since childhood. If I see you, I'll buy you a burger and a beer at the Red River Rockhouse. 😎
