    What was the cfs when you ran it? We are going next week and wondering how low is to low to run this section.

  • @BackpackingWithJason
    @BackpackingWithJason5 күн бұрын

    It’s was at 275 when I started the trip. It was 225 coming out. With the water low it was like an obstacle course around the rocks. I’ve went through Devils Jump a lot and the water being that low made it a little tougher to get through. I think for kayak camping and if you like fishing and swimming, I think the best cfs on that section is between 600 - 300 But we was in the 200 and still had a lot of fun. Let me know how it went and have fun out there

    Oh heck no on the river running for me. I'll take my chances with a broken ankle on land. My water phobia governs my adventures! LOL. Sorry you got injured. Looks definitely like a break. Good thing you had some ice. Hope you heal up quick! I shattered my wrist once while backpacking. No fun but a leg or foot would be worse for sure. Never see a paddle tent before. Nice adaptation. Hook in the hand and sinking boats. This trip was plagued! LOL. Glad you all survived. Great memories and a trip to remember. Have a great day.

    Dang, dude! I could see that it was broken, soon as you showed your foot! That Hiking Guy was real nice to send you that sticker. That's cool. You should've had one of those horses ride you outta there. They would've felt like cowboys, riding you out to safety. 😊 of course, then you wouldn't have the memories of kayaking. Oh, 😬🤢 I can't handle people being hooked and pulling it out. Nope. 🤢 You sank. Goodness. Glad your gear stayed dry! Is that Mrs. BW Jason? Nice bonnet! 😄 I hope you're healing up good, buddy.
