I think the reason the guns sound so weak is because there's no reverb whatsoever. You'd expect to hear the shot echoing around the jungle for a bit irl, but that just doesn't happen in this game.

The game looks good and the gameplay mechanics and the AI it just feels like i am in the jungle and in a building until i saw the hud the game is gonna be good i wish my laptop could run this

AI needs some serious improvements, but hopefully they'll get there!

im just saying that when aiming down sights your arm shouldnt be out to the side as much as it seems, idk if its just perspective or what

You often see that in games where you crank up the FOV a little too high, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Maybe it being in a video makes it look worse, but otherwise it seems way less zoomed in than it should be

Now let's just hope they don't lock the pve behind a ridiculous paywall 😂

No loading screens is a major drawback for me. I love sitting waiting on a loading screen before I can play the game I actually payed for. to bad! lets hope starfield 2 will fullfill that urge..

I like the look of this, looks like release is far away so not too concerned about the issues. Would also be nice to play a good extraction shooter that doesn't have dodgy ties to the Russian Armed Forces lol.

The guns need reverb off the enviornment but... yeah that's how real guns sound btw. They do not sound like Hollywood haha... that's, pretty much how they sound.

I can't claim to know much about how firearms actually sound, tbh, I just know in the video game world this doesn't sound all that satisfying in comparison to other games in the genre :)

@@MrAtomicDuck Yeah my theory is that they wanted to be realistic with the initial SFX which... doesn't sound good to gamers or anyone because everyone expects this BOOM and bassy sound when its more of a pop haha. The OSIPR in Half Life 2 is one of the best sounding guns in video game history because it is a bassy monster that THUMPS as it shoots. BUt it's super separated from fact. The fact they don't have reverb off environment though really hurts them too.

Not my cup of tea but it'll be welcome to those a bit turned off by Tarkov at the moment I'm sure

Aye, Tarkov has NOT made a lot of friends today.

Read as "Gay Zone Warfare...". Checked the creator name and had to look again...

I'm calling cap on the game being improved performance wise. I've played enough alph/beat/EA versions of games to know that you will see a 5% boost to performance at best. Game devs are just not good at optimization, nor do they put enough effort into optimizing their games. It is not worth it to most of these devs to put the time into optimizing the game to get 10%+ performance increases. The time it takes just isn't worth it to them, especially considering people will gladly play unoptimized games and pay $60 or more for the experience. The state of gaming and what customers are willing to accept, is just horrendous. No game running on decent hardware should be running at less than 100fps, especially a first person shooter title. I have a feeling this will be a game I buy, realize it can only get 70fps average on low settings, and will quickly refund.

Factions are a terrible idea in most pvp games. You will always have one faction that everyone goes to, which makes maps completely imbalanced. If you pick the wrong faction, every match, you will be fighting against the entire lobby, or you won't fight anyone, because everyone is of the same faction. The only way around this, is to limit factions to X amount of players, or limit lobbies to X amount of members per faction, the latter option will mean that the popular faction has much higher queue times.

Do you really need to qualify your statement by saying "honest thoughts"? I think the agreement we've all entered into here is that you're going to give us your honest opinion on whatever matters you decide to tackle in each video so it feels kinda silly to say that you're giving your "honest thoughts" on whatever matter is at hand. Maybe im being a bit of a pedant about it, but yeah, I dont think you're lying generally speaking ;)

You would be surprised how many people assume a video is sponsored if we have early access to something. In this case its purely just what came to mind for my title though. I think you're reading into it a bit too much.
