The UK is not Pakistan or Sri Lanka. We are the sixth biggest economy in the world. It would be pretty easy to cut taxes without increasing spending and do all the rest as well by burning green regulations, cutting back on wasteful spending, and also cutting back on the size of the welfare state and other monopolies govermment has that it has no business being involved with such as the media and healthcare.

Tories don't care, strangely, about these characteristics. It's the Tory party members who vote in this contest between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, not the wider British public. Only a fool drives in a straight line on a winding road. Churchill changed Party and did wonderful service including WW2 and also drafting the Bill that created the National Health Service.

A mirror image of Boris, defence kickback is tempting, where most politician eyes.

UK cannot afford to cut taxes or raise defence spending, so Sunaks plans are more fiscally responsible

Sunak has the energy and expert economics knowledge necessary for the UK prime minister. Liz Truss would be wrong choice and could be the downfall of the Conservative party and this will prove that there is racial discrimination within the Conservative party and in the UK.

This is why there should be a General Election. What happened to the peoples' parliament not picking their Prime Minister. Maybe it's become too dull to bother to vote. So what the British people get instead are a lot of boring, self-interested people. Mostly men. Most have no political experience, broken promises, blatant lying to the electorate, and no easy way to contact your MP., who usually has no experience in politics or is too young. Politics has become a closed club for politicians and would-be dictators only. Where the public has no voice. John Eric Hoare. BREXITEER and British Citizen.

We all know the Ukraine war and its repercussions while the world is trying to come out of COVID Get the facts correct before pointing others. @@Tsug2803 I thought so too. Ask the poor people for once. We got rebates on our Council Tax bills. He furloughed businesses during the pandemic, he sorted out the October payments due to the rise in gas/electricity bills. Take all these things away and we would have been in more mess than we are now. I think he will be more honest than Truss, she is a true Boris supporter, who is a proven liar.

Even India has higher inflation and temperatures than the UK but it is important to make the audience hot by mentioning it. I hope that India will finally get through the memories of colonialism if Sunak is elected. It is so often repeated that Indians could feel pitty for themselves even thou it happened 100 years ago. I am not English and my nation did not colonialize anyone usually it was invaded throughout history but we got over it a long time ago.
