India's Mars mission, Mangalyaan, has stopped communicating with the Earth. ISRO has said that Mangalyaan has run out of fuel, 8 years after it entered Mars' orbit. Did Mangalyaan conk off before time or did the mission exceed expectations? Priyanka Sharma brings you a report.

@@christineannclerino4008 different schedule of months,each hindu month ends on different dates in each year and concept of days is not there and concept of tithi is there and it can end at any time in a day, our festival dates are also fixed by hindu calendar so each year hindu festivals comes on different dates whether it be the same festival and there are many more complex things which i even dont know and concept of nakshatra and all helps in predicting planetary motion in solar system and universe, even some stars This helps predicting seasons too and even rainfall, like you can just see tithi ins tarting of year and there are some fixed tithis on which rainfall or high temperature and lot other things occurs

That was actually the Chandrayaan 2 orbiter they modified after it was cancelled. By reusing components, development cost could be reduced.
