Man. Words cannot express how this video made me feel. It really put into perspective all the people I love and how they make me feel, the struggles i've gone through and came out alive and just the person I wanna be in a few years. Thank you for this, I was in tears by the end. No video like this has ever invoked such strong emotions out of me.

Thank you! I needed this. This is the first set of holidays without my parents who passed away this year and my first Thanksgiving that I had with my former spouse following a divorce (to support each other as we put our daughter first in parenting). I find it daily so hard to be grateful, but I have so much I should be for. I survived him walking out. I survived being a single mother. I survived two pregnancy losses. I survived be told I wasn’t good enough. I conquered and rose above each time. I have powered through and not given in. I am grateful for my husband, my children, my family and friends, and the successful career I have built.

I havent cried so much in 10 minutes in a long time. I started thinking of my best friend, she was the only one i could think of that i dont feel judged by and that i always feel in the moment with, and truly loved by. I think I started crying at the fact that my mind went to her first before my significant other, or any of my family or other friends. Thank you Matthias.

I was not expecting that kind of emotional release. I think I will keep this video and use it when I feel bogged down. It really did help bring me to the present, where I have fought so hard to be. When you fight your whole life, sometimes you don't see that you can stop fighting. You don't hear the battle cry that the war is over. You continue to find something or someone to fight because you feel as though if you ever stop, you may not be able to fight if it's needed again. Thank you for reminding me that I slayed my dragon, and I am home with my family and safe.

I felt so in the way today like all I could do was make it worse. I’m also struggling with a concussion that made me so nauseous today. So I finally secluded to my bedroom. I needed to feel safe, to breathe, to cry, just....be....really be. I didn’t hesitate to go to your page I knew exactly what I wanted to listen to. I am grateful that I am strong enough to be here in this moment. You reminded me that it’s okay to not be okay, but it’s also good to try to look at the bad and pull the good from it, to have the strength to not be swallowed by the darkness. To acknowledge it but not let it rule you. I am grateful that I am alive. You help make that not sound cheesy. Thank you for being real and giving others the space to be real too.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:2-5 This is my absolute favorite bible verse and seems fitting for the subject. Thank you Matthias. I am 30 years old and have been in therapy off and on for 10 years dealing with a lot of childhood trauma. I have never meditated before and this video has reminded me once again of the purpose I have found in my pain. Please keep making content. You are going to do remarkable things. God bless.

Also, this one in particular really touched me - especially near the end. A really nice approach to mindfulness that allowed me to connect to my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It wasn't just about being in the present and having an awareness. Noticing just my breath or the things around me and accepting it. It tapped much deeper into the self and understanding. It brought out emotion, allowed me to safely feel it, and also find gratitude. Thank you.

I say thank you from the bottom of my heart as this helped reassure me of many things throughout each breath. You're an extremely good person and i appreciate every video you make no matter how many people they reach. It's not that you're a life saver, instead your advice and insight into the emotional functionality of those around us clears the complexities of life away, which helps so much to be able to clear my mind and see that life isn't as bad as our minds make it out to be. We can make it easier for ourselves by understanding how we feel in certain moments, as well as what actions to take in order to ensure we progress.

I’ve been going through so much as of late, I’ve been to the hospital for suicidal ideation 4 times now, I’ve tried maybe 4 medications and about 5 therapists and 1 psychiatrist, I’ve been through so much abuse but about two years ago I opened my heart and my mind and grew to understand how to love, it’s by no means perfect now but it’s the most comfortable I’ve been feeling and processing thoughts about anything and this year the person that let me open back up broke up with me and I can’t eat or really sleep anymore and each day I’m grateful that I haven’t killed myself but I’m scared of the change that’s happening in my life right now.
