I played this song for a great old friend very dear kind man.. as he lay the night before he passed.. I placed my phone next to him.. w music he liked.. a true Hippie, had two nice parties and played music.. i brought the animals.. gave him a kiss on the cheek that night and he gave a sweet little smile.. 💖🤍💙💜
this song and it's music feels like it means to awaken, to the realization you are the mirror image of everything in this world. Truly! As clouds expand, dissipate, becoming water themselves...
We are so incredibly lucky to have this video. Love to everyone involved from the band to the camera crew to the channel and the lawyers who allow this stuff to slide. LOVE

The thing that I've always said about the Grateful Dead that I found most amazing about them is that there is 7 people, all high on an assortment of drugs, can perform together as a band on stage in front of 10,000 people and not only keep it together but _entertain_ their audience.
End of 7th grade. I felt I ruled the world. What a great year! 😍

Definitely on the Eyes Mt. Rushmore. From about 1:05 to 1:20, Jerry and Phil are both soloing side-by-side. One of the only bands where the the lead guitar and bass player are both simultaneously playing lead. Perfection. Also the sort of chill few seconds before the first verse. Just the epitome of smooth.

How can I contact the whoever is in charge of the band to let them know someone is profiting off them by placing ads in the middle of KZread posts ? I'm sure that they're against it since they don't want anyone selling bootleg concert tapes.

Any kind soul here know where I can get this whole show on video? Thanks.
You're not gonna like this comment. Jerry was smart and powerful enough to lead the other GD members into dedicating their own spirits and musical aspirations into the fulfillment of HIS dream. For better or worse, let's call it what it was. Jerry needed the drugs to deal with his own demons and misgivings about the way the whole thing was going down. Finding out that you have the power and ability to realize your dreams is often bittersweet, or fundamentally upsetting. Wish it weren't so, but...

they're two different things imo. the verses work better at a lower tempo, but the jams reach such incredible peaks when it's fast like this. i'm also not a big Mickey fan overall, and this is one of the few tracks that i think he really adds to.
