Graphing LInes in Slope Intercept Form y=mx+b
I review the 3 forms for equations of lines at 0:57
I then work through 2 examples of graphing lines in slope intercept form starting at 3:47 and 9:10
We finish by graphing a vertical line at 14:08 and graphing a vertical line at 16:22

This may be a bit off-topic, but has anyone else found that math/science-related subjects are much easier to learn if your professor relates said subject to a real-world topic? Basically "this is why [subject in question] is important: [example in an industry where it is used.]" When my professors did that (it was rare), I found I cared a LOT more.

You are not off topic at all. While this video just covers the mechanics of graphing lines, I rarely give an assignment without application problems… or trying to explain why care about what we are learning. Application problems about average rate of change or statistics problems about linear regression lines are perfect places to search for real life uses of lines.
I remember studying pre-calc with you back in high school and your videos being the only ones I understood well. Now I graduated college with a major in engineering. Thank you ♥️

That is AMAZING!!!! I am so impressed and happy for you. It takes a tremendous amount of work to earn an engineering degree. I hope you have found a fantastic job you are having fun with!
I love algebra, it’s so fun to me. 😊
🎉
Shouldn’t the standard form equation Ax+By+C=0 then if we move the C to other side it should be Ax+By=-C? Because in the previous video it was written as Ax+By+C=0
