Equation of a Line Given 2 Points

I explain how you find the equation of a line given two points. I help to develop an understanding of slope and explain the relationship between the Point Slope of a Line and the Slope formula.
Check out www.ProfRobBob.com, there you will find my lessons organized by chapters within each subject.

Professor RobBob ,thank you for a great video/lecture on Finding the Equation of a Line Given Two Points. This playlist helps with the development of Basic and Advanced Mathematics for students/non-students worldwide. I watched and took notes on all Fifty-five videos, and this helps me with a clear and solid understanding of basic /advanced mathematical tools. Every course in science and engineering uses these tools.

I came back years later but you help me so much in college. You may not have a lot of subscribler but know that you have change more life then those with 1 million subscribler. As a broke college student I could never afford those "tutor" service and almost all help (chegg) cost so much. Thank you so much even if I don;t study math anymore.

Professor Tarrou I am commenting on your latest video in hopes you read it. You might not remember me from 2016 😅 I used to watch almost all your pre-cal and calculus videos. I just wanted to tell you that I graduated from university on 6 April this year, majoring in computer science 😄. I thank you for your efforts through all these years, even during uni. I wish all my professors were like you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you and god bless you and your family 💕.

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION MY DEAR TEACHER . IF YOU WILL ANSWER IT WILL REVIVE MY INTEREST IN MATH ONCE AGAIN . I am a 10th grad student .If you will answer my question I will be very grateful to you. Note : Read every line before answering my question and try to answer my question as best you can I want to understand math like how Euler had crystal clear understanding of Euler's Identity and likewise other mathematicians had of their works I don't want to study math without true understanding, Conceptual knowledge is not understanding. Books describe things in an abstract manner without any context. And even worse, they always make assumptions that turns the material inaccessible I'm not after procedural knowledge. Is there a method to truly make sense of "mathematical expressions", understand the parts of models and the relationship between them? Also doing problems and even mastering solving them is also procedural knowledge. I also asked few math youtuber's but they are suggesting me to learn math through proofs and derivations. (1)So when I tried to learn proof ,there are also proofs of 1=2 which is possible only on paper. 2.Some suggested me to learn derivations, but when I tried derivations I realised that derivation helps you to remember but it's completely useless when it comes to actual understanding . 3. Some are suggesting me to read literature and then a question came into my mind that it's not possible to have a history of everything that is present in mathematics . 4. So how can I truly understand mathematics. P.S: My question may seem vague, but really I want to know how can I truly understand math, not learn a set of actions or rules to solve a problem that I can't contextualize and that I don't know it's why.Why and how these rules work.why these theorem is true.why these formulas are true . Why everything in maths is true, I want logic behind them Please answer as fast as possible. Try to understand my problem I am not after procedural learning and practicing proofs to memorize. I want to gain real and actual understanding of mathematics .
