Very informative video. Water spotting and water spot etching are the biggest problems I have with ceramic/Si02 coatings. Looking forward to future tests with CSL/EXO and CQUK versus two coats of Ethos Graphene Matrix.

Great video. I have known about Graphene for years. The key was always the method to produce it and have it able to be applied to a surface (clear coat, paint, etc). Now you have demonstrated the properties - it is more resistant to poor washing, water spots, etc. which is why I have wanted to use it for years. I chose the Ethos product because the Company looks to be solid and the folks I see (Tim) are professional, approachable and able to communicate very well! I believe in Ethos. I watched this video and I didn't see any twist or turns to favor Graphene over the CSL. So, for me, this was unbiased testing. My results using the product are excellent. I have completed maintenance washes and clients cars have seen bugs, gravel, sand, massive heat and humidity. No problems at all so far. Thank you for the test and keep up the great work! Chemistry will allow Graphene to evolve and likely improve, so I will stick with Ethos for the ride :)

To further clarify, this video was shot before the release of the other video. We wanted to see our own findings with this type of comparison testing.

The Graphene is awsome stuff. I use on everything and it leaves a great durable finish on both use in auto and stone counter tops. Durability is amazing just make sure to wipe off excess or it is difficult to get off! Works great at protecting paint from the love bugs here in Florida that can destroy a paint with etches.

Looking forward to trying the Ethos line once my current supplies dwindle.

I don't get why you didn't compare your own graphene coating vs your own standard coating?

Tim, really good comparison, I was surprised that Dawn Dish Soap was able to to degrade CSL after just a hand full of washings. My truck has CSL/EVO, in the spring it'll be polished off, and coated with Ethos Graphine. In the mean time It'd be great if you can come out with a graphine topper with your signature gloss.

Does your company use Ceramic Pro as well? How does a product like adams graphene compare to something like the Ceramic Pro Silver Package?

Matt Johnson - AHS in our experience we are seeing a very easy wipe off, less tacky than some ceramics. Temperature and humidity do play a role so start off with a small section and work up from there to test the application.

great information... ethos makes great products.. btw, I know it's a test hood but it's still painful watching that water dry and etch on that hood.lol.. someone else mentioned a topper are you guys looking at something like that?? if so make it real slick ... thanks again

Rusty Cook why is that? We wouldn’t make a product that then makes the rest of our line up obsolete. Anyone of our products would work with our Graphene coating.

@@ethoscarcare Because you only get the full benefit of whatever the top layer is. Be it Graphene,Si02, Ti02, wax, sealant, or bird droppings. Why would I want to lose all the benefits you expounded about Graphene vs Si02? Not trying to be an ass here, you got my money over a month ago & I'm very happy with the results.

​@Rusty Cook you dont lose any of the properties by using our maintenance products, we designed the chemistry to with Graphene and even other brands of ceramic, tio2, polymer, wax coatings. As mentioned we designed our products to work together and you will actually see improved performance using our Defy and Ceramic Shampoo with Graphene but dont just take our word for it, try it yourself.

@@henryfreeman6113 Pain is still a factor but we have his eagerness to do well since he sees all our commitment and support for his successful future. He has something additional to do it for, his wife was pregnant and didn't know it at the moment of his accident. According to the obstetrician she was apparently pregnant within the very same week of his accident. He had arm therapy and we are with him all hands on but still have to wait for his leg an additional week. He moves his leg but the pain is always a factor besides his two broken ribs.

This is bogus if one side didn't have etching I'd say point proven but they both do the exact same thing it's all in how u take care of your investment most of the people that get a car ceramic coated will take it to someone to have it cleaned and nobody uses dawn to wash a car lol 9h coatings and all the same .

Is the detail spray usable in the sun?

CSL works best after letting it cure for 2 weeks befire doing something like this

You need to have someone evaluate the finishes that does not know which side which product is on, called blind test! Better yet have multiple ‘blind’ people look at it and rank which has better results, one person bias doesn’t tell me much >>>>

That's a great suggestion! Blind tests definitely provide more unbiased feedback.

Camera is too far away. We cant see the side by side comparison.
