The former Bison men's basketball standout, who transferred to Alabama last summer, had a dazzling debut Monday night in Tuscaloosa, where the Crimson Tide routed Morehead State of Kentucky 105-73 in their season opener.
Nelson's line: A team-leading 24 points to go with a team-high seven rebounds. He didn't make a turnover.
Included was a massive, high-flying dunk that circulated widely on social media.

If he can learn not to stiff arm the defender when slashing to the rim he might make it. 2 fouls should’ve been called for pushing off.

Cooper Flagg would take Nelson’s lunch money and then give it back so he can take it again. Grant Nelson is good but nowhere near as good as Cooper Flagg

I’ve only been watching since ‘05 and considering we won so many games by 30-50 points, won the SEC reg season and SEC tournament, I’d have to give that one to Brandon Miller.

Best Tide players since I've been watching(about 20 years every single game) are Brandon Miller, Erwin Dudley, Herb Jones, Robert Horry, and the biggest what if in Ron Steele. Sexton was a disappointment for us minus the 3 on 5 game and SEC tourney and then left 1 and done. He's not even in the Kennedy Winston, Alonzo Gee, Gerald Wallace, Mo Williams tier.

Never heard of him first time seeing him but if he plays like this in every game he's a top 10 pick maybe five 5 and to be honest he's looking like Cooper flag 😂

Grant used to be a 1-2 guard before he hit an insane growth spirt out of nowhere in high school. That's why he half-ass looks like a point guard who can hit 3-pointers at 6'11"

First thing I notice he’s at PF when he’s gonna he put at SF in NBA. Second he doesn’t have a consistent jumper like cooper Flagg they can’t spread the floor. He has a crazy college game the dunks are Dope n all but Alabama is waaay to small.
