I've been in the body field for over 40 years doing custom body and paint. I would hire this guy in a NY minute. Very few guys get what it takes to do Candy, and he is spot on ! If I had a guy like that when I had my shop I would have never closed the doors. Quality guts are so few and far between.

I'd guess u to be in ur 60's. I did bodywork and paint for 45 years. I'm 69 and 1 of my paint jobs wound up in a magazine. I didn't get any money for it but it did give me bragging rights... LOL

I totally agree. Most painters plays it safe with standard industry materials. This is a gift he has and he is not afraid of pushing the limits. Just imagine if he had an A1 rated paint booth.

The first of your videos I’ve come across and I subscribed right away. You do unbelievable work bud. That paint looks as good or better then you will ever out of anyones shop. Including the super high dollar shops out there. You take care and stay safe. Keep doing what you’re doing.

I love this guy and his energy. His personality is the exact opposite of Sprayways but both their work is great. The only two guys I watch on KZread I’m an old white guy that loves candy paint, any color will do but I do love some Brandywine and Magentas. An 80’s paint job with several candies over a coarse aluminum would be badass.

I sprayed one candy paint in my early years, a lot of work and it comes out a lot slicker than any other type of paint I ever did. Looks good

I had a fan like that in the hallway of my house when I moved in. It was built in 1960 in Ft Lauderdale. It didn’t come with a/c but when I got home and it was hot in the house but nice outside, I’d open windows and flip it on for 2 minutes and the house would be cool. They’re amazing.

Man that color is beautiful. It would be sick in that two tone, this violet and silver with like a neon pink or neon blue pinstripe to break it up.

Absolute artisan do you know how hard it is to do this work I’m an airbrush artist and just to spray ANY CANDY PAINT is a pain in the ass cause you need the right mixing ratios and the right carrier to mix with the different pigments! Buddy your frekin amazing the color is even and just jaw dropping stunning! Your the definition of artist!!

True "Kandy" Kolors have either a silver or gold basecoat. I prefer silver because it always looks so much cleaner but it's a personal choice. 1 of my paint jobs wound up in a magazine.

Just a trick or feather in you hat . Always spray from the bottom up to prevent from having any runs on your paint job.

what kind of paint do you recommend. The car has some small rust spots in the door jams and police decals that need to be removed and sprayed over I don't know if its possible to get the Ford explorer paint matched. The paint job needs to be able to handle the weather getting cold or warm. flexible. Im just stating out selling cars.
