It is a Shame the Granite Mountain Hotshots as a organization has been closed for these nine years. I would like to see it revived as an HONOR to their sacrifice and call them the Honor Guard Granite Mountain Hotshots honored. They worked so hard to become the first municipal Hotshot crew. GOD BLESS their sacrifice for us all.

Can't believe it's been two years since this tragedy. :( I used to make these men their lunches almost everyday! Miss seeing their smiling faces! God bless them and their families!

@@thesunsetreptiles so cal is lazy no offense worked with them numerous times I was there when granite mountain was entrapped it was them and us they only 2 hot shot crews that was there my supe picked up Brendan mchdonough BLUE RIDGE IHC 2020 GMH19 LINE OUT IN PEACE THIN RED LINE

When this happened I like probably a lot of people didn’t realize the magnitude of what happened.😕 much respect for these men.

I was in fire from 76 to 89 (BLM and USFS). Their is a special place in the cosmos for firefighters. Ill be joining them someday..
