While some may be by accident, I can't believe that the majority would be especially since you can change your thumb up/down by just clicking the other one cancelling the error. I do have to agree that those who do purposely select the thumbs down have no culture. Especially with videos such as Grandpa Amu. I love to do woodwork and it's how I found him some time ago. This gentleman literally builds something from scratch, a skill that is exceedingly rare these days. It's a skill I guess you have to truly appreciate.

While I wonder what Grandfather could do if he had more job specific tools the way he uses what he has reminds me of my own grandfather who made dough bowls (deep trays) out of a very soft, low density buckeye to insulate the dough from extreme ambient temps, salad forks and spoons and rolling pins. Depending on the detail he was working on he used an axe, chainsaw, pocket knife and pieces of glass soft drink bottles which he had broken in a bucket and a couple of old screwdrivers he had turned into gouges using a blow torch, a mallet and "found" anvils. I did notice Grandfather's digital marking gauge at 2:10.
