GRANDPA A Mu made a long bench, which all the old carpenters wanted for their work.
GRANDPA A Mu made a long bench, the simple one used to be used for a long time, began to break, now made this durable, such a bench is all carpenters want and like the bench

El conocimiento que nos regala el abuelo Amu, es invaluable. piensen en la experiencia que acumulo en sus años de trabajo, esa es la mejor herencia que puede dajar. Saludos desde Buenos Aires.
This is one of my favorite things in craftsmanship. you make a set of tools, and later, when your skills increase, and you gain materials, you then craft SUPERIOR tools. this is a great example of a craftssman using tools to make BETTER tools, so he can then produce superior craftsmanship, and do so more easily!
The master craftsmen at work .when i get a chance i will make a bench like that you showed me the way . Thank you Grampa for sharing your experience and wealth of knowledge to us all that want to learn
Dear grandpa,. I bow to you respectfully. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and life philosophy. Greetings from México, wish you a long AND thriving life.
This may sound silly, but it's really cool watching someone across the world in a culture completely different from mine using tools I recognize and also use. It's great to, once again, see how similar people are all over the world. We're not as different as it seems sometimes. :)
Always a pleasure watching you make something from nothing. Thank you for sharing your skills Grandpa.

Using a handsaw to cut straight lines is easy to mess up and not a skill easily perfected. It is much harder than it seems. Growing up I can't tell you how many boards I messed up and having my dad yell at me for not using the hacksaw properly.

I could watch this man do his work all day long. I have watched him work all day long on my iPad. Every time I get thru with a video, I can’t wait to see the next one.
Ii's heartwarming to see another old-timer as I am doing such beautiful and precise work as you have been doing in the simplest of conditions all by hand and few tools but powered with the spirit and willingness to do some hard work with your hands and a great mind for woodworking that you have been blessed with. At 68 I built my fig. 11 Roubo Bench and now I'm embarking on a wall-hung tool cabinet with double-double doors. We old-timers can still do it, it just takes a little hard work and desire to finish the job. BRAVO to you Sir. Job Well Done.
I so enjoy watching you make things. Thank you for showing how you work.
Grandpa reminds me of my dear father-God rest his soul-who was incredibly skilled with wood. He made amazing furniture some 40-50 years ago, that still stands in my mother's house. He had no power tools- just old school great skills. Wish I could have learned from him. He wanted me to sew instead😁😁😁.
A man of great ability and kindness. Long live grandpa Amu
