There are like 3 people in the entire world that would do this by hand. Grandpa is one and nobody knows where the other 2 are. My whole family sits and watches these. Your craft is not lost on us! We adore you!

Reminds me of my grandfather who taught me to make kites with the bamboo that grew in our backyard. We cut up one of Mum's old dresses for the fabric and thought it would be a fun surprise. Needless to say we were wrong. It was a very pretty kite though. RIP Grandpa. I hope you can enjoy your time with your grandchildren a lot longer Amu Ye Ye.

The patience and ingenuity of this grandfather is enormous ! What a fabulous grandfather for this little boy

These are always so calming and puts a smile on you when you see him with his grandson.
