Grandma Builds a Wall in the Barndominium

My mom came to town to see Makayla ride in a Hunter Jumper show and then built a wall or two while she was here. It was her first time using a power saw and a pneumatic framing nailer... which knocked her off her feet.
Make sure to keep watching and see Makayla ride at minute 12:07. She and her horse Girlfriend won Championship Blue Ribbons in both Equitation and Hunter.

For future reference you could take a swing stapler and tack the sill seal foam to the bottom of the mud plate before tilting the wall up. No more messing around with the foam.

That is a great idea! I even have a swing stapler so I could have done this. It would have been a lot easier. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. Glad you like the videos. Still in the initial stage of building an audience... but it is starting to ramp up now. We'll see how it goes in year two once we move out to the new homestead and start tackling all kinds of projects I have planned.
