On this site, archaeological excavations brought to light a house, the house of Usaid, built with walls made of adobe bricks. El corazón del Oriente Medio es Mesopotamia, "país entre ríos", como la llamaron los historiadores griegos. Esta inmensa área geográfica, de casi 80.000 km2, comprende el actual Irak y zonas de Irán y Siria. Fueron los ríos Tigris y Eufrates quienes, gracias a irrigar las fértiles llanuras por las que discurren, posibilitaron la vida en esta región de condiciones extremas, con temperaturas actuales por encima de los 50º en verano y muy escasas lluvias anuales.

Maestra es un vídeo muy interesante en el cual nos hablan un poco mas de la civilización Mesopotamica y también nos dan algunos datos que nos pueden servir como parte de nuestra cultura general.
