Thank you. Most of us neglected to ask questions of older family members when we had the chance. At least you are doing something about passing it on now. I got here from the slide rule title and I’ve never heard of one made that way. In the interest of accuracy, there are longer, and long, slide rules by Thatcher, Fuller, Otis King, and others.

Wow ! To say this man was a genius and a master craftsman would be an understatement !!!!

When I was in University ( I was an Ag Engineering major) we were told that Henry Wallace used the world's largest slide rule to to solve the statistical problems of hybrid corn production. Thank you for shining some light on a foot note to history.

Well that's very interesting. And in fact, Granddad Mosher knew and worked with Henry Wallace on hybrid corn development. They might not have been close politically--Granddad was a lifelong Republican--but remained close friends all their lives.

I was always a quiet kid and never asked questions of older relatives, I wish I had. Now I have so many questions.
