One ok rock are very hard to pin down on rock styles. They have something for everyone. It is one of the reasons i love them. They will make sream head bang and cry in one concert. The one thing I can tell you they are amazing musicians. They are Japanese jet They sing in both English and Japanese. English is not their first language Taka said once in an enterview the he writes the song in English and then translate them into Japanese. They have a lot of western world influences. Like linkin Park, all time low sleeping with sirens 5sos and a few more. If you would like their heavier stuff I recommend No scared Mighty long fall One by one Lier First story Deeper Deeper But as I said in their music you will find punk rock ballads rock pop rock classic rock (queen style) they infuse a bit of country reggae etc. They are a styles on their own. There is rock and there is OOR. I am a fan. I have seen them live and in 53 years of concerts they sit pretty high in my book. Thank you for your honesty and reaction ❤😊 ONE.

Well, they aren’t a metal band, so don’t expect that xd I do love thos song, but I still rly like Renegades and I woudn’t probably gget into band that is very heavy all the time. OOR sit somwhere between rock, pop, pop punk, emo, etc. If it’a not for you that’s ok 🤷‍♀️ They have a few songs, but that’s as heavy as they go: Mighty Long Fall, Liar, One by One, Take me to the top, Ending Story, Deeper Deeper But their more usual sounds is something like The Beginning, Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer, Cry out, Clock Strike, Vandalise, Save yourself

ONE OK ROCK has a straight rock style, so they don't get much attention from metal fans Reactor, but in Europe and America they are as popular as babymetal, and in Japan they are one of the few stadium-class rock bands. For more intense songs, I recommend "NO SCARED "Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium" LIVE" and "Deeper Deeper "Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium" LIVE." And if you're looking for a male metal band, I recommend these. Keep up the honesty, that's what makes your channel so appealing! Do you mind if the lyrics are not subtitled in English? Please add Kenshi Yonezu's "Kick Back" and Millennium Parade's "work" to your list! However, I don't think the genre is your cup of tea 🥰. Both have interesting music videos 🎵 Japan has a lot of active rock bands, but I can't think of any punk rock bands…

Not related to one ok rock but I recommend "Backlight" by Ado. The song is in japanese and Ado is a versatile singer who taps into every genre i can imagine (Almost every of her songs sound different). She is known for the powerful metal vocal, vocal fry, etc. (even tho metal/rock is not her primary genre).

If you want a boy Japanese metal band, there is X-Japan. They’re from the 80s. They’re the original metal band of Japan. I suggest the song Kurenai from “their last live” concert. Glad you liked this song! Unfortunately they don’t have a lot of songs like this so I don’t believe they’re going to be a band you will regularly listen to. One!
