That "one thousand Chestnut" line is heard in one of the dirty harry movies. I have to say that the audio quality of the transmissions is a lot clearer in this game than vice city. I think they used a real radio for this and some filtering program in VC.

@@loganmccann09111995 I think that's a stock sound. Meaning that rockstar and whoever's made those shows and movies either licensed it or got it for use in the movies and games.

Funny thing about III's police radio chatter: Some of it was carried on over from GTA I to GTA III. I have fond memories of sitting in an ambulance and squad car listening to the radio chatter pretending to be a cop in GTA I as I watch the pedestrians and cars go by while parked in the park on the grass... yes! The grass haha and parked on the side of the road. Bits such as "Kay, we got a refill" were in GTA I.

I've always wondered what the dispatcher says whenever you enter an FBI car... It sounds something like, "Suspect is in a blue tacomie" or something like that.

I was just looking through the GTAIII audio files when I came across a Police radio transmit saying: Undercover officer requesting immediate backup and clean underwear, cover blown. 😂😂 If you want to find this your self go into the audio files and find a5_a - It’s one of the first ones.
